Hi,  I have also been lurking out there for a while and now am in the right place to introduce myself.  I am a 32 yo SAHM with a ds, 7, and a dd, 6. I have been learning from and assisting midwives for 3 1/2 yrs.  I love all things childbirth.  I found this site last year after my son was born at 19 weeks and died in my arms and needed to find out what low progesterone meant. He was our 5th loss.  I found this site a great solace to me as I followed some of you through your trials also.  Now, after "conquering" the progesterone issue we made it to 28 weeks only to have our son die from tangling his cord and peacefully leaving us to go to Jesus.  What a blow this has been for our family and community of friends who have been supporting us through all these tumultuous pregnancies.  I guess I needed some refining because I am someone new each day it seems as I make my way through this journey.  I am here to glean from older women on how to be a godly wife and mother and to find someone to cry to about losing my baby so far along.  I haven't found any support groups in my area and I desperately want to hear about others' journeys.  I was raised in southern Minnesota and now live where it's nice and warm.  My family called me a hippie when I started eating co-op organic granola that I had to scoop myself 8 years ago and now I wear cloth pads  and homeschool Undecided go figure!  I love to garden and eat "crunchy" healthy food.  My dh is learning to be head of our house and we are loving each other in new ways after 11yrs of marriage   Smiley  I feel very exposed at times but I count it as praise as others can see God working on us.
Thanks for letting me in!

  Hi everyone,
I'm not new here, but I've never introduced myself. Embarrassed So to clear my concience I'll take the leap. Cheesy Cheesy My dH is very private and doesn't like for us to have to much info out on the internet.
I'm a 31 yr old SAHM from the east. My favorite hobbies are learning how to be a better wife and mother, language learning, baking and learning about nutrition.  Yea!! I've finally perfected my whole wheat rolls, that I make about once a week.
We have two not so little anymore blessings, DS 7 and DD 6. Like you, eeshadoula, I know the pain of waiting long and then loosing children.  Cry Cry   My hope, peace, and courage come from Jesus, who besides my DH is the passion of my life.
I am a very high strung personality and DH is a combination of command/ steady, so that has had a refining effect on my life.  Roll Eyes Wink Cheesy for which I'm thankful.  enough said...

Hi-here goes, I think I have figured out how to do this now.
I am a SAHM in her very late thirties with three adopted children.  Married to a Mr. Steady for 18 years-have known each other for 21 years and ministered together the whole time.  We live in NC.
Homeschooled all- one has moved out on his own-2 at home. I am hoping this website can help link our family with other families of like mindedness to increase our circle of influence for my kids-mainly my daughter 16/son 6
Are there any other NC (west side) families looking for the same?
Thanks and I look forward to getting more familiar with this site.

Hi! I have been reading on this site for months! There is too much info. to digest!

I have been married to a wonderful man for 10 years. I am a homeschooling SAHM to 3: 6, 4, 2 year old. I live in mid-Michigan but was born and raised in South Dakota and Nebraska! Sometimes I really miss those wide-open spaces.

Thank you to all of you experienced healthy people who spend your time explaining and sharing your wisdom and experience. I have learned a great deal and have made some minor and major changes in my family since starting to research ways to become healthier. Some have worked, some not, some things just need more time to tell! I am just so grateful that God has steered me in this direction.

I have been headed this way (getting healthier) for some time but when my 4 year old had croup and strep in October and the pediatrician sent me home with 3 Rx's - a steriod (with a stern caution from the pharmacist about adverse reactions in children), an antibiotic and a nebulizer with another med, I was angry and determined. It was the kick start that really got me moving!

Hi there everyone.  My name is Holly and I am 20.  I just got married Sept 8th.  My husband is amazing.  He is a Mr.Steady and treats me like I'm a princess.  He is in the air force and we are stationed in England.  This is a pretty exciting way to start our lives together.  Coming from Texas this is a whole new world.  I am loving it we have a gorgeous house with a courtyard out front and a tower right outside that looks like Rapunzel might be up there.  I really love it all.  It's a a great experience.  We are going to be doing lots of traveling this summer too.  If anyone wants to look at my myspace  it is Myspace.com/hollyking22.  Oh yes I am also a T-Tapper.  I really enjoy it.  I joined the habit formers program about 3 weeks ago and that really makes it easy to stay motivated.  I am trying to get into crafting.  I Cross Stitch, Primitive Stitching, I want to start Paper Piecing.  I enjoy reading and spending time with my hunny.  I am brand new to this sight, but my sister has been using it for more then a year.  I have a great church back home in Texas that I love. In the mean time while we are in England my husband found a church that preached KJV Bible so I was thrilled and that's what we have been attending.  Well that's me in a nutshell.  My sis recommended this sight and I know it will be helpful when we start our family Smiley

Hi Everyone,

My name is Heather, and I'm a 34 year old mother of two, DS (3-1/2yr) and DD (14mo.)  I am also married to Mr. Command man, which keeps me very busy.   Smiley  Since my pregnancy with my daughter in 2006, I have been "self-educating" about natural and herbal topics of all kinds.  The more I read, the more I say, "WOW!!!"   Shocked  I just can't get over how many things are going on right now in our society that could be taken care of if people would just take care of themselves.  How much money could be saved . . . the government would just not know what to do with themselves if we just returned to the way things used to be . . . people being responsible, keeping kids at home, etc.  I am trying to carefully talk to my husband about things, as he is a much tougher customer in many of these areas.   Smiley  I just keep praying and letting the Lord do the work for me.   Wink  I get impatient sometimes, though, so pray for me in this area.

BTW, the "shared prosperity" and "healthcare for all" that Hillary and Obama keep talking about . . . does that sound like socialism to anyone else??  My husband and I sure think it sounds that way.  I don't know if this part should go on the "conspiracy theory" thread, but anyway . . .

Thanks for letting me post.  This is really going to be GREAT!!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Wendy. I am 33 and am a happily married stay-at-home mother to our four children, a five-, four- and two- year old and our 3-month-old baby.  Before I had children, I taught seventh-grade math at a private Christian school.  I always wanted to be a homeschool mother and thought that would prepare me.  As you all know, and I came to find out, nothing really prepares us to be mothers. . .we just have to jump in! I would love to learn more about natural remedies and healthy living.  My biggest health issue is a personal one--I suffer from migraines.  I have narrowed down that they are hormone-related.  But, since I have been pregnant or nursing for the past 5 1/2 years, I have not found a great deal of relief for them other than strong pain medications--which I would love to avoid completely!  I am looking forward to getting to know other Christian mothers who seek what is best for their families.

Thanks for letting me post!

I don't know if this is what I am supposed to do but here goes.  I have been lurking for a while reading.  My family is grossed out by the garlic and apple cider vinegar and such but amazed when the stuff works.  I am a homeschooling mom of 3 and grandmother of 2.  I am mostly a stay at home mom.  I work some for a friend of mine who has a home business.  My husband and I have 2 acres, chickens,2 little goats (just pets) and 3 horses.  My son is 14 and wonderful young man.  I have a grown son 23, daughter in law and grandson 2 and a daughter 20, and grandson 20 mnths.  My daughter is divorced and living with us again.

I am in a steady search for raw milk (it isn't legal in Ar. ).  Sometimes I can find goat milk.  We garden and have an apple orchard.  We are really trying to eat healthier and not run to the dr. all the time.  I have my first batch of Kombucha growing but if you read my email, I'm a little scared of it.  I am going to try it this afternoon.  If I never post again you will know what happened.   Cheesy

I am encouraged by you ladies and what I read on here.  I am a little late in life to some of this  (42) but I know that God means for us to honor Him with our bodies.  I want to do that to the best of my ability.  Hope I didn't ramble too much.  Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and experiences.

Hello everyone!

I didn't realize there was an intro section. . .very cool.  My name is Shaina, and my dear friend Licia introduced me to this board.  I'm 26 and recently married to my own personal superhero  Wink  Alex.  We live in Wisconsin out in the country, and are currently buying my grandparents old home on the farm!  Dad lives next door and milks 40 some cows organically every day.  My honey and I want to transition into the farm completely within the next few years, hopefully!  We have to buy the house first so we have some equity.

I'm at home trying to figure out how to make it baby ready (we practice nfp) as there are a lot of toxic things. . . .especially the SHAG carpet that need to go before we go about producing a brand new nervous system.  So this is all new to me.

Alex & I have done lots of short term missionary work and I'm on a 10 day fast at the moment.  This fast has brought about a crazy rash on my skin as well as shooting a number of worms. . . .ick!  So Licia reminded me of this website . . . so I'm here.  Any advice would be very appreciated. . . I'm a bit scared. . .

Pretty much figuring out how to take care of a home from scratch so any wisdom there would be wonderful. . . . looking forward to the journey with all of you!

I've been lingering for a while, but decided it's time to COMMIT, and well, everyone knows posting on a member intro board is a big step!

I'm 26, married to an awesome man.  I know, everyone says that, right? But I really mean it.  Wink  No babies, and probably not in the near future, as the timing hasn't been right as the last 4 years we've spent more time traveling overseas than we've actually been home.  Put it this way, the longest we've even stayed in 1 spot was for four months and that was in a Afghanistan.  No, we're not flakes, we've just been doing a lot of mission work.  We can't WAIT to be parents, but God has called us to serve in this manner for now and we love it and are very grateful!

We're just beginning this "health" thing.  It's brand new, although I've always had an interest in it, and many other unconventional things. As of yet, My DH can't live without his Hamburger Helper and I can't survive without my make-up and ramen noodles(anyone have any busters on that? Huh).

I'm very stoked to be here and can't wait to get to know y'all!

I'm 32 and live with my Mr. Steady and our 10 month old son. Last year, my mind was opened to concepts I never even imagined I'd be drawn to: homeschooling, gardening, natural healing, what it means to truly submit, and so much more. I have been researching these interesting topics and am excited by what I have found! I love Jesus and have been saved almost five years ... I love reading the Bible, exercising, studying, and loving my family God's way. Since having our son, I have grown curious about homeopathy, green living, and natural products. I started making my own cleaning products and just love those garlic and ACV treatments! I've been lurking for a while, but am finally ready to get involved and share my experiences with infant and pregnancy loss and to truly encourage ya'll since I've been on the receiving end for a few months now!

Hi Everyone,

It is great to be here, I have been lurking for awhile, when I have time.  I actually signed up on this list over a year ago and now my name should be momma4six.  I am 37 and have been married to my man for almost 10 years.  We have six children, 8 and under and our last one was a 28 week preemie with lots of complications for me and her so this will be all the children we will have outside of adoption, if the Lord wills.  We homeschool, live in the country and would like to some day buy a piece of land and build our own home instead of buying one that someone else built.  I am thankful to be a stay at home mom and be able to have the freedom to homeschool and be my children's primary caregiver.  We have a lot of fun as a family, except maybe the fact that I've made everyone be sugar-free and yeast-free for almost 2 weeks now, in efforts to eliminate some problems.

I'm not sure if I need ask my questions somewhere else.  So I'll wait on a response.  One is on yeast infections and one is on "In the Diaper".  Any help I can get would be appreciated.  Huh Smiley

I know a little about a healthy lifestyle (through reading books and this forum) and sneak it in around the house when and where I can.   Oh how we do love ice cream.

I look forward to continue to glean from all of you. Smiley

I have been checking here and posting occasionally and didn't take the time to acquaint myself yet - so...

I am originally from Western NY State, met my stud-geek hubby at college in Western PA and then we moved west to Oregon.  Been in Beaverton since 1998.  We have 4 incredible and adorable children - Noah 6 1/2, Hannah almost 4, Zakeaus "Zak" 2, and Magdalyn "Maggy" 4 mos.  Been a stay at home mom for almost 4 years, homeschooling for not quite 1 year.  Anxiously awaiting to see what God has in store for us next.  We have felt his favor over our lives more each year.

Honestly, I'm a little hesitant to go totally natural in all senses, but I'm warming up in certain areas.... as my kids are fighting a nasty cold right now, I've been dosing with myself with garlic and colloidal silver and praying and it seems to be staving off most of it... so I'm warming up.

Thanks to my buds Julie, Tiff and Ames for always pointing me here, what a wealth of knowledge!

Hi my name is Tracy. I am a 35 yr old helpmeet to Marshall and  homeschooling momma of 3. Our girls are 11 & 10 and our son is 2. I have been learning a lot over the past couple of years. It hasn't been easy. We began our journey with the Lord in 02. It has been a wild and crazy ride!~ My husband and I have gone from burnout to born again. We both have come from broken homes and lived lives of self abuse, in all aspects you can think of. But that didn't stop God from picking us up and showering us with His grace and mercy. He has truely transformed us. When we started our Christian walk, I was not honoring to my husband. Our home was out of order but God opened my eyes through Charity Ministries and NGJ. I began to obey God's word and you know what He did? He made me fall head over heals in love with my husband! My man finally felt the honor and respect he always deserved and it turned him in to the man he always wanted to be. Now we are heading for the mission field! We will be going to a missionary training school for a year, starting this Sept. After that our plans, Lord willing, are head to Ecuador. We want to learn all we can to serve the Lord there. It has really sparked my interests in herbs. I have just begun to learn. Not only to benefit my family but to benefit people that the Lord will place in our lives. We are so excited. Our journey has just begun! I look forward to meeting you all here and learning from your wisdom and experience.

Hi!  I am so excited to find this forum (through NGJ of course!).  My name is Cassie and I am married to Rob (since 1998) and we have four children, Matthew '00, Christopher '01, Sarah '04, Laura '05.  We are second generation homeschoolers and I can't imagine any other life.  My hubby was public schooled but he determined to marry someone who would homeschool!

Our journey to healthy living has been a gradual one.  We've been grinding our own grain and making bread for several years, but I was still sick all the time with various complaints.  I finally realized I have celiac disease!  So I went GF and CF last year and am much better.  The latest thing has been discovering I have fluoride poisoning and MCS, my thyroid is messed up and I have had 5 miscarriages in 2 years--it's all connected, I think.  So I am starting the journey to detox, which includes going completely organic.  We've always eaten lots of produce, but not always organic because of cost.  Enough of that, we are fully commited now and are continuing to weed out toxic plastics, etc., from our home.  We've been using non-toxic cleaners for most of our marriage.

My oldest has ADHD and he really reacts to processed foods.  His health was one of the the driving factors that pushed us further down the road to "natural" eating.  My boys show signs of poisoning also, so we are detoxing as a family.  I am hoping it will help my sons ADHD further.  GF certainly has.

It is nice to meet you all and I look forward to learning along with you.

Well I come on here every day and just noticed this thread.  I'm Jammie (just pretend there's only one J...my dad likes to be different)  and I am married to a sweet Mr. Command (we met at church camp) and we have 3 children- girl age 9, boy age 6, girl age 4.  We both grew up in church and became Christians in our teens.  I've just started this step into natural health, although I started grinding my own wheat and drinking fresh squeezed goat milk about 4 years ago when the son had chronic health problems.  And you know what? The goat milk totally cured all the chronic problems he'd had the first two years of his little life.

My first remedy from this site was the garlic enema on the youngest when she had a throw up virus.  Frankly, it scared the family, but after all ingesting sage for runny noses, they don't run away from me anymore...lol.  Some even request sage and ginger baths.

Anyway, we live on a farm in TX.  My hubby is a computer guy that wishes he was a farmer.  So...I milk nubian goats and a jersey cow and we put in a 1 acre garden every year with my in-laws.  I also home school the children and lead the story time at our local library.  I also LOVE to sew but haven't had much time for that lately.

Well, I think that is way more than I needed to tell...anyway, I love this site and am thankful for the fellowship with other Christian ladies.

Hello my name is Jessica, I have been reading here for a several months, haven't posted much though. I just found this into section and have been enjoying reading about some of the people I see here.   I am married to Nathan and we have 4 children, one of which is still baking, she will be ready at the end of May.  Other than the new baby we are waiting on we have an 8 year old girl, a 5 year old boy  and a 3 year old boy.  We also have 2 golden retirevers.  We live in southern Michigan, we homeschool our 2 boys our daughter goes to a private school, and we raise rabbits for meat (that is about the only animal we can raise in town) and to sell every now and then.  We like family bike riding, jumping on our new trampoline, and watching movies together.  We also wish it would stop snowing here  Grin  I don't feel like I know much naturally, but I am starting to learn and enjoy trying new things.  I cannot think of anything else to say, but I have a question to ask, so I'll finish here and hop over to the pregnancy section and ask.

I guess it's time to introduce myself.

I am married to a Mr. Steady, and we're loving married life.  He's my best friend, and we have so much fun together.  Whether it's having a catch(great exercise!), hiking, or going anywhere, we enjoy each other's company.  He is a total balance for me.  I'm outgoing and fiesty, and he's calm and reserved.  We are total opposites, but I've learned so much from him.  God has such a sense of humor when He puts two people together.

When we were dating in college, he had to look up some Bible verses for a project he was doing.  I am not always a detailed person(my hubby is helping me with that...haha!), and I said, "Oh, I know a great verse--Ecclesiastes 4:11."  Being that my hubby is an exact person, he said, "Well, let's look that up and read it together to make sure it will work with this."  When we turned to it in the Bible, my face turned as red as a tomato.  It said, "Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?"  I almost died!!!  Thankfully he has a sense of humor and laughed.  (Pheww..)  I then skimmed my Bible and realized that I meant to say Ecclesiastes 3:11a "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time;"  Whoops!

Some of my interests include scrapbooking, cooking/baking, traveling, baseball(Red Sox fan...converted by hubby), and genealogy.  I am definitely a people-person.

I have been soaking up info from WTM for a few months now(thanks to my sil for introducting me to this forum!), and I am so thankful for all that I've learned.  I have much more to learn, and I'm glad that people are so willing to share their knowledge.   Cheesy

I have been married for almost 10 years and we have 4 wonderful blessings.  They are 9 boy, 5 girl, 3 boy, and 8 month old boy.  We live in Florida.
I grew up in a nonChristian home but became a Christian as a teenager.
A wonderful mentor mom introduced me to No Greater Joy when my first son was a toddler.  I have grown a lot as a mom through reading To Train Up a Child and the No Greater Joy magazine.  Reading Created to be His Help Meet radically and wonderfully changed my marriage.
I teach the Bradley(R) Method of Natural Childbirth and sell baby slings.  I also homeschool my wonderful children.

Okay.  This is really bad.  I've been a member here for 2 years and I have never introduced myself.  So, here goes.

My name is Amy and I am 31 years old.  I'm married to my wonderful soul-mate of 10 years, Jason.  We have 4 children (and 1 in Heaven), Casey (5), Corrie (3), Callie (2), and Caleb (2 months).  We live in the mountains of Arizona (yes, Arizona has mountains) and my husband is preparing for the ministry in our local church.

I was saved in an Independent, Fundamental Baptist church when I was 24 (Praise the Lord!).  I am currently homeschooling my oldest boy, who is reading every book in the house, enjoying training my girls to be helpful little ladies, and kissing my sweet baby every chance I get.

I have learned a lot about eating healthy from my good friend Christy who is also a member on here and who actually told me about this site.  I have learned a lot from welltellme and I am so thankful for all the knowledge I have gained here.  My son has many, many food allergies and I have been thankful for all the tips I have received from other moms of kids with food allergies.  We are still working on getting our diet the way we want it, but we are marching onward to the goal of organic, self-sufficient, healthy living.

Okay.  I feel better now.

Hello everyone. I have been around for a few months, too and haven't introduced myself, so here's a little bit about me..........
I get to stay home with my three children, DD 4 DD 3, and DS 1.  I am so grateful to my husband for allowing this and to God for moving our hearts to this way of life.  We are homeschooling, and will start a little bit of scheduled "school" time next year.
My husband is Asst. Pastor at our church, so we spend a lot of time there.  Beyond that, we love playing together outside and exploring natural trails.  We've started a garden for the first time, but the neighborhood cats think we've started a play center and litter box for them. Yuck!! Tongue  So, we'll see how it goes.
Our best friends sparked us toward a more naturally minded and informed way of living.  We've had one homebirth, one hospital birth, and one at a birth center.  We love homebirth, but things don't always work out the way you plan, huh!?!
I've learned a lot on WTM already, and look forward to more! It's nice to have a globe spanning community of similarly minded -- if not totally likeminded people to look to for answers and encouragement.  Smiley

Hi all,

I just learned about this site through a podcast I was listening to.  I have been slowly working towards switching my home to a completely "green" and healthy home.  I am a stay at home mom.  I have 3 daughters ages 17, 14, and 11.  I've been married 21 years to the most wonderful man ever!  I am currently enrolled in a few college classes and have been studying American Sign Language for 2 years now.  I haven't had a lot of time to look around here yet, but I have already tried a few of the great alternative recipes here.  Grin  I just know that this site is going to be a great resource for my mission of a healthier family!

Hello! I am new to WellTellMe! I am a Christian wife and stay at home mommy to one beautiful 4 month old baby girl! My High School Sweetheart and I got married almost 4 years ago and once I graduated from college with a degree in Dental Hygiene, he and I moved up to the U.P. for almost two years. When we got pregnant we decided to move back to where we grew up to raise our children around our family here in central lower Michigan.
From a very young age I have had visions of what I hoped for in my life.  That always included being a stay at home mommy, homeschooling my children, doing things the "old fashioned" way, and most importantly partnering with my husband to raise our family to serve the Lord Jesus! The Lord blessed me greatly by sending me a man who wholeheartedly believes in those very same values.
One of my Christian mentors and a great friend kept talking to me about natural health. She gave me lavender oil, sea salts, and mama's milk tea for my baby shower gift! I became interested and knew that I wanted to learn more about natural health but it was all a bit intimidating to me because there is so much to know. My daughter ended up getting RSV and pneumonia and when she was perscribed her first medications I began to investigate alternatives. First of all I wanted to know why she was perscribed an antibiotic for a viral illness. We spent $50 on medications and three days later we were told that she never needed! That is when my interest quickly became a passion. When I was talking to my dear friend about resources that I could use to learn more about natural health she told me about a friend who uses WellTellMe. Let me tell you I am so thankful to her for that recommendation. Everybody has been SO nice and SO helpful to me! I have been reading and learning A LOT! There are so many lost Biblical principles and practices (oils etc.) in modern day society, and I've always known that but it is really nice to hear from others that believe that too! I really feel like I fit in here even though nobody knows me! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for all of your help!

Well...I've actually been a member here for a long time, but never introduced myself.  My name is Robin.  I'm a 31-year-old mom to two girls, ages 5 and 18 months.  My husband and I have been married 8 years; he's the best man in the world.  As I tell him, everyone who has met him likes him.  And those that don't, well, there's something wrong with them.

We're not the healthiest eaters in the world, though we do try to stay on track most of the time (as I sit here munching on cookies).  My husband has numerous allergies and health issues, and is always researching and looking for natural solutions.  One section of our kitchen counter is completely filled with various vitamins and supplements.  I've gotten some good ideas from this site, and it's one of the first places I check when someone in the family has a health problem.

Before we married, I always wanted lots of kids.  When we discussed it before marriage, I compromised and said, "Well, maybe 3 or 4."  It looks like, right now, unless God has other plans, we'll just have the two.  That is really hard for me, though I am very thankful for the two girls we have.  I want to be content.

You might not see too many comments from me, but I'm frequently on here checking what you all have to say.  Thanks for all the good advice, ideas, personal experiences, and laughter.

Hello, i hope i'm posting this correctly. I'm just learning to use a computer. It's so nice to meet everyone. I've been reading posts for a few weeks and appreciate this site a lot. My name is Melanie, or Melly (My dh calls me Lane.) i'm Doug's wife and the mother of Nili (she's nine). We're living in beautiful Colorado, in view of the Rockies. We homeschool our daughter and wouldn't have it any other way. I have hopes of becoming a naturopath or herbalist someday. The three of us, enjoy researching herbs and edible wild plants, seeking them out in the wild, and harvesting them for use. We also have an appreciation for gardening, and the fruit thereof.  When i pick up a crochet project i can barely put it down before it's finished. My daughter knits, and we both sew. I enjoy making salves, balms and soaps (i've yet to make bar soap). I have a somewhat intense desire to start taking pottery classes soon and make a great deal of creations. I also want to play the guitar, and maybe another instrument. I've got a lot of stored up creative energy that needs some sources of positive release. I don't do any one thing well enough to be on a professional level. The three of us have spent the better part of the past nine years, traveling. Settling down together in a homey atmosphere is a new experience for us, and we all still enjoy traveling and camping. Home life is sure nice though. I wouldn't trade it. We all desire to live a profitable, fulfilling life, that's pleasing to our Maker. We'd like more children, Doug says ten, but i'm already twenty-nine, and don't think i want to spend ninety months being pregnant, over the next fifteen years. The information on this site is really a help. It's so touching  seeing the care and concern members have for each other. I think it's really great that you all have regional meetings so you can meet face to face. Someday i hope to attend one.

My name is Cindy. I was born and raised in a Christian home. I met my husband at church and I've been married for almost 7 years and have 2 young daughters. I'm new to this site and healthy eating/living. I'm just looking for honest truth about all the food and products out there. There's so much hype in the media and it can make someone paranoid. I'm so used to "American" living that it's going to be tough to change everything, so I'm just trying to learn what I can. With God's help, it should all work out ok.

Get your priorities straight: #1 is God, #2 is hubby, and yes, #3 is children. Bad things happen if it's out of order.

My name is Cindy also.  I am married to a wonderful husband, more so each year.  We have 3 children ages 13, 11 and 9, hoping to have more if the Lord wills.  We homeschool, grow our own food, doctor our own selves.  We live in Kentucky on a little farm, I hardly ever go anywhere more than 10 miles away, and I like it like that.  My husband is a command/vissionary man that can build the most amazing things from nothing and he loves and provides, charishes, and protects us.  More than that, he loves the Lord.  What more could anyone ask?  We are kind of odd balls in our area, probably would be no matter where we are, except here on well tell me.   i am glad               to meet you all.
