Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy He is a soft-spoken, laid-back type of guy that would never tell me I need to read 'Created..', no matter how desperately I need it! ( even if I ask him to!) He is very much the leader of our 'happy home' tho. The kids value his quiet praise way more than they do mine...hmmm.  Undecided I love to research...guess why I am on this site! I just joined this board last night and look forward to coming here as time allows. I'm Lindsey, 25, and live with my family in Alberta. We live on a ranch and are in the process of moving from a cow/calf operation into feeders. I enjoy gardening, canning, scrapbooking/card making, crossword puzzles, sewing, crochet, animals, music(violin and piano), photography, and reading. There is never a dull moment around here!  Smiley
I'd like to learn more about herbs and natural stuff so am excited to be here.

Hi Everyone!

I am 36 years old.  I am married to my high school sweetheart, who is the greatest man ever!  We have been married for 15 years and we have 6 children ranging in age from 13 to 1.  They are all such unique blessings.  I am a homeschool mom and a pastor's wife.  I am new to the "natural"  way of doing things and am eager to learn all I can to bring our family to health.  I love this website and have already learned so much!  Thanks to you all for the info you have shared on so many topics.

I just noticed this string... I've been posting for the last few days and thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Susan, 25, living in eastern Kansas. We have a 2 1/2 yo ds and have #2 baby on the way. We live on 5 acres and are working to be a self-sustaining farm. We have dairy (3 cows), chickens, and pigs. We sell raw milk, pastured eggs and heritage pork. We are working to get a certain breed of pig that we should be able to grass finish. We definitely like heritage breed animals all around, include poultry. Unfortunately raccoons cleaned out our laying hens in a matter of 2 weeks.. it was a sorry affair  Sad So we're waiting on our pullets right now..

Hello everyone!
I am Beth and I was introduced to this site by my friend KristenA! I have been reading on the site for a while. I tend to get carried away and have been staying up till all hours of the morning reading about yeast! I finally remembered to join and introduce myself today thanks to KristenA's frequent reminders!! Smiley
I have recently finished my Master's degree and am currently waiting on God's direction for what to do next. I am single, so I don't have a family to take care of- but I am enjoying learning how to take care of myself from all the great people on this site!

Well, I have officially joined this site and am already loving it!  I haven't been able to pull myself from the computer since joining cuz I'm trying to read through everything! Smiley  Okay, it's an impossible feat, but I'll try.

My name is Amanda and I am a homeschooling mother of 2 boys, Brent (5) and Clayton (4).  Yes they are close in age.  I have been wanting to go natural for many years, but things were just too expensive.  But now I'm looking at the downsides of NOT going natural and am going to start little by little doing things naturally.  I am sick of putting fake stuff in my body.

I am married (for 9 years) to a wonderful Mr Steady and am currently reading Created and trying to learn how to be a proper help meet, the way God intended for me to be.  I love my husband and love being his wife.  There is no one else for me.

I hope to learn a greate deal here and I'm sure I will ask some questions as I love asking questions!  Grin

Okay, I have been reading (and writing!) on WTM for a week or so and I LOVE this forum!  I am Cyndi, married to my hunky-hubby, Mike for 26 years.  We are probably the old folks of the group, but we still have little ones to qualify us as active, homeschooling parents.   Cheesy  We have Thomas, 25 and married with baby and another due in March;  Michelle is 22 this week; Shannon Joy is 16 and smiley; Alaina is 13 and artistic; and Eric is our intrepid little man at 10 years old.  We adore our children and take God's admonition to train them in the way they should go quite seriously.  ( We just might be spiritual twins with the Pearl's!  ha ha)  We enjoy many activities, projects, conversations, giggles, and joys with our children and are pleased that our oldest has married a lady who loves their daughter, too!

We are one of the pioneer families of homeschooling, as we are in our 23rd year of homeschooling.  We started back when it was unheard of!  We coached our children to tell folks who asked where they went to school that they went to a "special school'.  The association that most people made with 'special' put a stop to more questions!  hee hee  From that, we were active leaders in our state Christian home educators group for several years.  Once ours reached high school age, the academic load and active life that we lead caused us to retreat from the 'group' stuff.

We have been ^overboard^ health nuts for almost 25 years.  Financial choices made to keep Dad home more have tempered our obsessions and we maintain as healthy a diet as we reasonably can on our budget and forget about guilt!  It is good to have a steady, loving man who guides me and keeps me on the right track.   I have been studying herbs more and more the past 8 years and took a course 2 years ago in medicinal herbology.  I make our own tinctures, teas, and salves.  Due to my own severe environmental allergies and chronic disease (liver and adrenal failure) we live simply, make a lot of what we wear, use, and eat, and enjoy sharing knowledge and news of God's grace with those around us.

We are currently living in Southeastern Ohio where the Lord put us 4 years ago.  We are planning to move back to the Southwestern US, where we lived before moving here, as soon as our lovely house sells.  Our 2 oldest children, d-i-l, and grandbaby are in California.  Too much distance!!

Happy to meet all of you wonderful folks!  I love WTM!  It is the sharing sort of friendship that I have been so hungry for.  Seems to be too few friends since moving here.

Hi!!  This website is such a blessing to me.  I am humbled and reminded again and again how appropriate such an attitude is to have.  I'm feeling the LORD must love me an awful lot to be handing me such a wealth of encouragers.  Thank you all.

My name is Tracy and my dh is Mark...a guy who can do just about anything.  A Mr. Visionary with all the bonuses of a Mr. Steady.  I've actually had several women ask if they could borrow him for awhile...no way...He's a builder, investor, mechanic, rigger-upper (a la "Tim the Toolman", but w/successful outcomes), patient teacher and listener, enthusiastic dad, but enough already b/c I don't need to tempt anyone to be jealous Wink.

We have 7 way cute kiddos:  Hannah Jo, 12; Jordyn Rae, 11; Thea Noelle, 9; Joel Samuel, 7; Gabriel Luke Herrick, 5; Samantha Lois (goes by "Yo"), 2; and 7 mo Elijah Dean.

We are homeschooling, did the homebirth thing (Mark only has the midwife come as a security blanket for my mom's sake, I think, by now Undecided), and now we're trying to go alternative in the health dept. as well.  He met a couple dedicated to the Hallelujah Diet and had me look into it b/c he was sold on the benefits of eating right, then handed me the reins to decide what was best for us.  So he's at least as gung-ho as I am to implement health as God would have us implement it.  I've got much reading to do...and praying...Suffice it to say, we're learning.  We love the supplements from Beeyoutiful and we found a farm in PA that will deliver lots of organic stuff right to our door (check out frankferd.com).  We're sorta Maker's Diet-ish right now in our food philosophy.

I love to do anything as a family.  We love campering (hanging out in our camper, just over the hill, but away from our phone and esp. our clutter Tongue...), and I enjoy reading, scrapbooking with my dd's, and working outside.  Nursing and snuggling aren't so bad, either.  I love to see what books are on other people's shelves and music moves me.

Can't wait to get to know all of you and I'm thinking Heaven is going to blow me away for sure.  See you there!!!

OK, I'm the newest member as of right now, so by way of introduction:
I'm a nursing student, the oldest child in a family of 9. My eventual educational goal is to be a nurse-midwife (CNM - hence the username). My dad is a pastor, and my mom has stayed home and homeschooled all of us from the very start. (and of course, I can't wait to do the same when I have my own family!)
I teach piano, and I am a certified doula - have been attending births for about a year now.
This forum is right up my alley, as I'm tremendously interested in natural health. I've had a lot of health issues in my relatively short life so far, and am now more stable in my health than I've ever been. Candida and parasites have been issues, so have hormonal problems, adrenal fatigue and stress problems, way too many digestive issues.... But God has been so good to me, and I've grown a lot by learning to trust Him with my health! And so I'm excited to have this forum to learn more about healthy ways to keep building a strong body to serve God with!
    Blessings!!

Hey there CNM2B. It sounds like we have a lot in common. I am also a certified doula and I am currently working on my pre-reqs for nursing school. After I get my RN I want to continue my education to become a CNM! Maybe we can talk sometime about doula techniques and swap stories! I know personally, being at a birth is one of the greatest experiences of life, no matter who the woman is (yourself or someone else)!

You know, I never have introduced myself. Hello All of you guys here at welltellme! I am the wife of a great man. He is my sweetheart of almost 13 years! We have three amazing children, Ezra 8, Shoshanna 4 and Asher 2 (well almost 3 but I want him to be a baby!!) And as you already read, I am a doula.

If any of you guys have great birth stories or great things to do during labor and delivery (positions, massage techniques, ect) , I would love to hear what you have experienced.

Thank you all for being such lovely hosts!

Well, I lurked for a while then joined and never introduced myself.

I am a married homeschooling mommy to three children.  A friend told me about this web-site because she thought I would enjoy it.

I have been studying natural health since 1996, when my husband gave me info from a class in health he took.  My interests lie in nutrition, herbs, homeopathy and flower essences.  It has been a slow steady change for the past many years.  Currently I am learning about childbirth education and becoming a doula.  There is always so much to learn!!

I am considered to be really weird and somewhat crazy but it seems I am in good company on this forum.

That about sums me up.  I do not share personal info about my marriage or kids over the internet although I enjoy reading about other's kids  Smiley

Thanks for letting me be a part of this forum.  This group seems to be great!!

Hi, I am new to this site too although I have been reading it a lot. I have two little ones, and another on the way in April or late March. I don't know a whole lot about going natural but think it is a great idea and want to learn more about doing it and doing it right. My husband on the other hand is somewhat a drag along, and the kids could care less although I know it will make a difference with them.  Smiley It is great to have something like this, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK.  I've been reading and posting for weeks now so I thought I would introduce myself...finally.

I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING this website.  I have learned more here than anywhere.; whether it is from your individulal posts or from links you have created.  I've done my share of research on the internet, but it is so hard to know if you can trust what you found.  Especially when it comes to buying things!

I also so enjoy that we all are of such like mind whether it is living naturally or living right before our Lord.  Thank you all for your humility and morality and desire to be good stewards of what God has given us!

I am in my mid 30s (when did that happen?? Huh Huh)  I met my husband almost three years ago.  Neither of us had really dated for the last ten years, but when we met each other, we didn't see any reason to 'date' long!  We were married within 4 1/2 months of meeting each other!!! Crazy I know, but it was the second best thing that every happend to me!  Having him as a husband is better than I ever DREAMED it would be!  If there is any weakness in our marriage, it is definately ME!  (I LOVED/LOVE Created to be His Helpmeet!)

I grew up 'eating healthy' in the sense we didn't eat traditional junk food.  And, I always had a gut feeling that things should be as close to nature as God created them to be.  I never realized until a couple months ago that there is a whole way of life based on that philosophy!  I have been soaking up info as fast as I can and making changes here and there as we can handle them.  It has been so much fun!

Our 'coolest' discovery was when we put plantain on a bee sting.  Whereas the last time my nephew had a bee sting, he swelled up like a balloon.  THIS time you couldn't even see where he had been stung after only one hour!  SO COOL!  I definately believe that GOD is the author of all of this amazing stuff!

Looking forward to learning lots more!  Thanks everyone!

Hi all, I have been reading here for a while and absolutely love it!!!  (I'm trying to not become addicted Wink)  Our family has tried to eat healthy for the past 8 years and I love it. (Except for the liver, I can barely stand that stuff, even with onions!)  Shocked  I have really gotten into it in just the past 2 years (about), when I found out I had a wheat and oat intolerance.  Angry  God's grace has been sufficient though and now after almost 3 years I am used to the diet.
It has been nice meeting all of you.  Smiley

Hi all, I've been here a while but have not posted an intro till now.  I am a mom of 9 children, 2 step children and 7 bio.  Ages 21,19,12,11,9,8,3,2,3months.  4 girls and 5 boys.  I also have 1 grandchild.  I am 32 years old.  I am a homeschooling mom for 13 years, I have always been interested in natural stuff. I have had my last 4 children at home and am apprenticing with the midwife.  I am also working my way through the Naturally Healthy Family Professional Herbalist course by Shonda Parker.  I am enjoying it but disagree with her on some issues, mainly diet.  I tend to follow the Weston Price/Nourishing Traditions type diet because it makes more sense to me.  I milk goats and have chickens but also live in town. (small town)  My husband had a severe stroke nearly a year ago so I am also the breadwinner, I have 2 jobs.  As you can tell I am VERY busy wich is why my posting and reading is somewhat sporadic, I generally only log on while nursing the baby.  Don't know much about computers and the like which is why there is no pictures or fancy little smiling men or anything, just type.  I am sure I wiil learn this stuff as time goes by. I really enjoy this group and h ave found it educational just looking through old threads.  My husband laughingly told me he gets afraid whenever I say "Honey I've been reading about _____"  Sometimes I just sit him down in front of the computer and make him read it.  I hope I will be able to contribute things to this group.  Oh another note my 8 year old son has severe autism that I have been trying to treat biologically but money is soooo tight I have to do little things.  Anyone with information about autism that might be helpful can pass it on, I really appreciate it.  I have done the diet already.  Thanks and nice to mee you all.

Howdy everyone! My name is Kaylee, I'm queentea's (Lisa) daughter. I guess she got tired of me asking her to ask that healthy website group about this, that, and the other cuz she told me "You can do it yourself, ya know!" And so, here I am!

A little about myself. I'm a homeschooled junior, but I'm also taking classes at a local community college. By getting an early start I'll be able to get my bachelor's degree in deaf interpretive services in only two years (after I graduate HS). I'm a history buff, Teddy Roosevelt is one of my favorite presidents, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush being my other favs. I love to bake (my mom thinks I'm addicted to sugar.) I have my own little cookie business called KayKay's Cookies. I love to read, shop, and make crafts of all sorts. I'm an aspiring photographer. One of my favorite pastimes is writing. I particularly enjoy writing fiction based on true stories, including historical fiction and biblical fiction, and I also write about and to other teens. I tend to also write about issues and things that many people don't really want to talk about (the hard but real stuff). I love old cars! And just about anything else that runs on gasoline (or diesel) and goes "vroom" but I don't like the gas prices.

Well, that's a little bit about me. I hope to use this website to educate myself and convince myself to live a little healthier. I've seen some family members just deteriorate in their old age and I really don't want that to happen to me.

Hi everyone!  I've enjoyed reading and learning on this forum for months and have finally decided to join.  I am 32 years old and married to a wonderful husband who's a jack-of-all-trades.  He even burns vegeatable oil in his diesel truck!   Kiss  We have 5 children... one set of boy/girl twins, age 11, a son age 8, a daughter, age 5, and a son almost 3, and hoping for more!  My husband and I were born and raised Amish.  It was a wonderful up-bringing.   Smiley  My husband and I  only have an eighth grade education and  because we homeschool we enjoy learning right along with them.   I love using Math-U-See, Charlotte Mason, and Beautiful Feet as curriculum.  My husband and I are both saved and Bible believing Christians.  We've been eating a healthy, whole-foods diet since 1999 and I've lost and kept off about 50- 60 pounds since then.  My husband is supportive in this way of eating and my children enjoy it as well. We currently use the Nourishing Traditions methods from the Weston Price Foundation as our way of eating.   I enjoy making a lot of the Nourishing Traditions foods!  We live on a small rental property in the country and our children have had to be creative in the pet field... such as keeping  insects, mice, Shocked and now we have chickens free-ranging all over our property, including our porch!  If you come to visit unexpectedly you'll have to watch   your step or else....  Roll Eyes  If you let me know ahead of time I will quickly sweep off my porch.  Grin  We are hoping to get some goats and a dog in the near future and add that to our collection.
My interests are: food preparations, sewing, reading and researching, and lots more.
I hope to be a blessing to this forum as much as I've been blessed by it.

Hi,  I'm Rosy.  I recently found this website from NGJ publishing.  I have gleaned so much wisdom over the last month.  Thank you to all those older women (and the younger!) who have been giving what many of us have not been brought up with.

I am Asian Indian.  I have a very loving, God fearing husband, Esli (he is my every heart beat).  We have been married for 6 1/2 years and have 2 sons.  Isaac is 4 (he can read...thanks to teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons! BTW did not make him learn, I just couldn't read enough books for him so he started trying to read by himself and then I helped him) and Daniel is 21 months old and my primary focus for training!  First came across To train up a child book about 2 years ago and it has changed my life.  I was already doing some of the things but the wisdom I have got from there is priceless.

A big thank you to the Pearl family for going through the persecution so that those like us will learn to do what God wants us to do.

I have been lurking on this site for a couple of weeks and I have really enjoyed the content.  I am an almost 30 year-old mother to two boys - ages 3 and 6, and wife to a wonderful "Mr. Steady". This is our first year of official "homeschool" and I am very thankful to be able to stay home with my children.  Herbs and natural remedies interest me and I am educating myself as I go.  I am very excited to have found this site and look forward to "meeting" everyone and learning more ways that I can take care of my family naturally.

My name is Jenn, I live in the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire.   We live in the forest with our nearest neighbor nearly a mile away.  Perfect!  I am the wife of Tony, hero of my heart, the knight in shining armor who swept me off my feet fifteen years ago.  I'm also the Mountain Mama of four:  Hannah, 10, Gabriel, 8, Elisha, 6, and Ezra, 4.  We home school the herd, travel like crazy people and love every minute of it.  I'm a "crunchy earth muffin" (as my husband fondly calls health nuts) from way back and am enjoying my first bottle of Supermom!

What else:  Canadian by birth.  Born into a family that lived in an 11X22 foot log cabin on a lake in northern Ontario with no road to it, no electricity or running water.  My first meat was black bear, through a baby food grinder.  I didn't live in a house with entirely flat walls until after I was married... my husband civilized me, and my kids call me "wildish".

I write... for myself, and my family as well as for publications.  The greatest joys of my life are found on long explores with my children in our forest or on the shores of the island in Canada that my parents now call home.

We have one year of "civilized life" left before we cut loose and ride our bicycles around Europe, Western Asia and North Africa for a year... of course with all the kids!  The whole point is education!

This is my first post, and I'm so happy to be here.

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, and I love it already.
I am a 28 year old married mother of 3 boys and one baby on the way.  My two younger boys are homeschooled.  Nathan is almost 7, he is a bite sized visionary. Jonas is 5 and he is my little bear, all cute and cuddly.  Devin is 12 and he is the sports fanatic and coach to the younger boys. I never really thought I would love having boys so much because I always wanted girls.  I also have a little child in heaven with the Lord that would have been 8 this year.  I dont want to forget to mention him or her!
I am married to a man who asked God if I could be his wife when he was 11 years old.  I ran into him when he was 17 and we were married two years later.  He has given me a run for my money, broken my heart a thousand times, but if it wasnt for Brad, I would not know Jesus as well as I do.  My husband doesnt break my heart anymore, but is growing in love daily.  I hope that I can also grow in obediance to him and good conduct so that he will be won more over to the Lord.  Brad is quite the handyman and everyone loves having him around.  I admire how he can fix the car no matter what happens to it.  The Lord has definatley held this marriage together with grace glue and I just thank Him for his mercy.
Besides homeschooling, I love making my adapted version of Beka's Chocolate Chip Cookies out of NoGreaterJoy.  God bless Beka for sharing her special recipe, she is an awesome encouragement. (If anyone has any advice on how I could sell my cookies in a legal way.  I got a lot of slack for just trying to run around town and sell them without FDA approval and all that. But for the most part people loved them) I also like to make pretty things with beads, wire, string, and hemp.  I make these hanging little beaded wire hearts with a little crystal gem that dangles in the middle.  I like to write a little, and sing and dance with my children.  I hope to some day open girls and womans resale shop that offers free coffee and tea where I can sell cookies too.
I have been saved since I was eight but was quite wordly and rebellious till 20 years old. I had a crazy broken homelife with parents that were married and divorced twice. I was really messed up and full of self hatred at my bottom point. Through some good preaching and the Lord's voice, I was led back to walking with Him.  It was quite a dramatic process there for awhile, God did some amazing supernatural things to get my attention.  He saved me from drugs and sure death several times during the course of a few months and totally renewed and changed my mind from the evil dead ways it was following.  I am so happy my children can be raised with the Lord in their lives.  They are already so much more obediant and sweeter than I ever was.
My biggest aspiration in life though is to make some kind of difference in today's society.  I would like to reach the media somehow and plead with them to let children be children!  I get so mad when I see what is being allowed to be shown in front of their eyes and played in their ears.  I want to press charges on these money maker stars for sexually offending our young people.  Why are they getting away with these crimes? But I guess this is our chance as Christians to not be spotted by the world so that we will shine as lights in their growing darkness.
Well, I am praying and hoping to find some kindred Christian folk around me, but until then it is nice to have a good forum here.  Peace and Joy to you all.  Cheesy

I don't think I ever introduced myself.
I'm newly (just one year) from Oregon, previously from a rural part of Southern California.
I've been married 23 years to a very frustrating man.  Wink  We have been through drugs, adultery, extreme poverty, estrangement -- you name it.
We have 4 boys, 22, 21, 11, 8.  The two older guys are on their own and living in So-Cal still.
We have always homeschooled and have never regretted it.  With the 2 younger boys, it is like we get a chance to start over and do homeschooling for "real" instead of learning as we go (there is so much more to choose from now!!!!!)  For the last 4 years we have been using My Father's World curricula along with BJUP math and spelling, Awana Bible memorization, Writing Strands and Latina Christiana.  We love it.

We used to live a lot healthier about 15 years ago.  That lasted for about 7 years and then my "support" group of healthy friends sort of dissolved and coincidentally, we were plunged back into deep poverty and it was hard to keep my family on the band wagon.

This forum is helping me get back to what I know is best for us and I am really thankful to all the folks who share so willingly!

I feel we are embarking on a permanent life change.  God is really helping it along too.  Just today, we were invited over to an elder's home for lunch after church.  While there, something came up about Nourishing Traditions and I said I wanted to get that book.  As we talked about some of the ideas in the book, our host asked if I had ever tried Kombucha!!!  Who'd of thought it?  I thought these were yuppies!
Well, next thing you know, I have a Kombucha baby ready to go home and begin my own fermenting/culturing.  I had wanted one for about a month and couldn't find a local source.  And here, all the time, there was one (source, not Kombucha baby) sitting in the pew at church right in front of me!!!!

Sorry this went so long but I am kinda like that in real life, too.  (talk, talk, talk -- gotta get a grip on that)

Hey!  I just joined a few days ago and so far am really enjoying it.  I've learned so much allready and can't seem to get enough!  Everyonce in a while I'm like "oops better go check welltellme and see if anything new is posted"!!!!  It's so fun to learn ways to better take care of my family that I know is healthier and sometimes cheaper.

My name is Sarah (26) and I live in Missouri with my husband Ben and 3 children Aaron 4 Caleb 3 and Anna 16 months.  I've either been pregnant or breast feeding for the past 5 years and am looking forward to a little break here soon when Anna is weaned.  Smiley

Thank you all so much for this wealth of information!!

God bless you all!

Hi!
I'm a Newbie and was wondering if there was a special place to share and read others introductions?  Or should I start a thread on the subject?  If this is a dumb questions and I've clearly missed the answer somewhere in a post just say so and point me in the right direction.  Thank you!

New and still learning,
Camisha

I didn't realize that that thread was even missing - I'll go first.

I am Kaira, 31 years old and I am married to an amazing man I will never deserve - he is so good to me. We have 4 great boys (10,5,4,2) who challenge me everyday to understand them.  I grew up with 3 sisters and I just don't really get boys - but I am trying.  We homeschool our two oldest and I can't imagine ever sending my kids back to the shark-pit.  Our oldest was in school for 3 years and I am so thankful my hubby told me to take him out.  We live in Grand Rapids, MI and my hubby works for Northwest Airlines.  I am a homemaker.  We have 3 cats and a crazy dog, Lily - a "girly" gift from my hubby after our 3rd son  Cheesy  She acts like a boy Angry  We are currently living in the city but trying to find a way to move out of the city and homestead.  We love to camp, just spend time together riding bikes or hanging out at home and I love crafts and time to read.  I have wonderful friends.  Visit our family at www.thebutlerboys.blogspot.com

Wow, I didn't know that other thread was missing either.

My name is Nina, and believe it or not, I took my nickname from our dog, Mercy.  We found her and her brother dying by the side of the road a few years ago, adopted them and nursed them back to health and named them Goodness and Mercy (as in "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life...").  Goodness passed away last year, and Mercy sure does miss him.

I am 50 years old and married to the most wonderful husband, Bill.  We live in north central Alabama, and have had 7 children in all.   Two boys who are now in their upper twenties, two boys that are living with their Heavenly Father (one passed on at the age of 3.5 while waiting for a liver transplant, and the other in the womb at 14 weeks), and three girls (14, very soon to be 13, and 7.5).  We have homeschooled since the older boys were in 7th and 8th grades.  We must not have messed them up too much, since both graduated from college with honors.  We are still loving homeschooling, more each year that passes.

I teach a class in public speaking for our homeschool group, my girls and I cook the Wed. night supper for our church, and my husband and I teach a Bible class on Sunday mornings.  I am very interested in natural "medicines" and living, love to read, and am somewhat computer-challenged.  My strongest desire is to know and love my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and live as if He is more real than anyone I can see, touch, or hear--because He is!!

Who'll go next?
