Funny that should come up today............. I just came home from buying a liter of Everclear to tincture the peach leaves & twigs I posted about on another thread & realized that it works out to $80 a gallon.  Shocked Shocked (Can you tell that I haven't bought Everclear in a long time?  Wink) My response? - (said aloud) "I should make it myself, it would be a WHOLE lot cheaper".  Wink Grin Then I boot up the computer & read this......................  Grin Grin

Well, I bought both downloads, but can't get them to my computer.  The download box comes up and then 0% actually tranfers.  Does it take an extra long time?  Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah... extra long time... and there is a bug that prevents your computer from being able to figure out about how long the download will take...

Here is a chart that will give you an idea of how long it will take for the video... the audio should be about 1/4 of the time it takes the video.

Dial-Up (56 Kb)about 7 hours
ISDN (128 Kb)about 3 hours
Basic DSL (256 Kb)about an hour and a half
Fast DSL (1.554 Mb)about 20 minutes
Cable or Really fast DSL (4Mb+)less than 7 minutes

Yes, here is how to order "offline":

1) Create a store account.
2) Send a check. Or offer something in trade... (WellTellMe, 213 W Coal Ave, Gallup, NM  87301)
3) I will add the money to your store "wallet"
4) You can buy whatever you want in the store with the money in your wallet.

OK... this is definitely a bug. "Cannot resume on network error..." I tested the site, and it does not allow for resumed downloads.

So... I will pm both of you a "hard link" and will work on fixing that part of the store.

What's a hard link?  Do I need one too?  Or should I just wait until you work the problem out?

Yes, it's a video.  It may be the player you're using.  Beka's video is in MP4 format and you need to be sure whatever player you have is updated to current and has compatible filters to handle these files.

You shouldn't have to download it again, unless Real Player is different than everything else.  Use the search function on your PC to find the file.  Unless you've downloaded a ton of videos, there's a pretty good chance that you've only a few mp4 files on your PC. 

Go to Start >> Search >> Files & Folders

then put *.mp4 in the search box.  "*" is what's called a wild card and represents anything that might precede the period and the file extension.  Once you find it, you should be able to open it from any player, using the "file" >> "add" or "open" options.


If you're still having trouble after this, let us know.

Updating a program will not delete files.  I'm wondering if you never downloaded it in the first place, but just opened it from a live URL instead.  Then you might have lost your link, but since you never had the "hard" copy of the file in the first place, you couldn't have lost it.

I have a question that's probably silly, but I'll ask anyway. I ordered both the Bees podcast for $.99 and the Herbs video for $3.99. When it added up my order is said $4.98, total $5.00. I'm not worried over $.02, I was just really confused at the round up. Is there a reason for it, 'cause I couldn't find anything?
