To be frank though, I really want to focus on the media engine since the potential is so much greater than any of the other options. Greater in two respects: 1) Greater dissemination of the information that I feel compelled to spread... you know, all that WellTeller health stuff, and 2) Greater in terms of quality of business model Wink

So... pray for Beka and I. This seems like a trite thing to say, but to me it is more important than any other thing that anyone can do for / with us... all of us.

Seriously though, I think Tshirts, buttons, calendars, mugs, etc. would be great advertising for WTM with a catchy logo. They would also make great gifts to spread the word. Undecided

Maybe it's something that could be offered for a limited time only to say, help pay for a new server. Grin

I would think $5/shirt, tote, calendar, or mug, then $1/buttons and smaller things would help tremendously to reach a goal.

I think "GOT KOMBUCHA?" on a t-shirt with a WTM logo and the address would prompt more people to visit. Undecided

A server isn't something you purchase really, its something you lease... anyway, I worked on how the server runs yesterday (optimized MySql in several respects) and it seems to be better. A little breathing room I hope.

As far as the WTM swag... I am beginning to get the picture... er... pressure! Wink

I am working on it. ;P

Just trying to think of ways to help WTM. I understand what you are saying about the direction you want to go with the website and all. You don't want the purpose of it to get lost in the "swag".

Another idea would be to put, for example, a recipe for Kombucha, Kefir, etc. on the mug or tshirt with the WTM address, and a catch phrase. For the calendar, we could, for example (again), feature a different herb or spice for each month, including information on it's uses, where to find it, or how to use it, a tincture recipe, etc. That way, it ties in the purpose of WTM and helps earn money for it. Of course, that entails a little bit more work. Undecided

I think a good idea for the media downloads for sale would be to have it like amazon, with buyer ratings & reviews. I think you already mentioned showing how often it was downloaded. I guess that's nearly the same thing, but just because you buy it doesn't mean you liked it, kwim.
