What does "G-d" mean? Is it supposed to be "God"? If so, why do people leave out the 'o'? I was under the impression that atheists & unbelievers & such left out the 'o' as a way to disrespect God and those who believe in Him. But, I've seen 'G-d' sometimes on this site....so am I mistaken?....or are there unbelievers in this forum as well?

It's often used w/ topics of a less delicate nature...like to say, "Be prepared, I apologize in advance for what I am about to say..."

From th e context, I can tell the writer means "God". Since there are a lot of reason why people write the way they do, your best bet for an accurate answer is to ask the writer via a Personal Message.

As for the beliefs of the members here, it's a public forum. Members & guests only need to provide an email address to access it. There are no other requirements.

Ok, I don't mean to be a party pooper... Roll Eyes

but... aren't we becoming a bit lazy? (not anyone in particular, more like the whole society) Can't we just spell the words? Why do we have to abbreviate? And sometimes the abbreviations make NO sense what so ever! Like what is Anon = soon... how in the world does that equal soon? Huh
