What does it mean when someones post has some of its text with lines going threw it like this? I figured it was just a personal taste thing for some but on others I only see it on certain words in the post. And I assume when on the buying and selling thread it would mean that item is no longer for sale. But other then those reasons why else do ppl use it? I have been seeing it more lately.

Why? What is it supposed to mean?

Why? What is it supposed to mean?
So that someone knows that you changed your mind.  They might go searching for the post and never find it if you deleted it.  So the strikethrough is used just to let others know "Hey, this has changed, in case you were wondering."  Make sense?

Also, sometimes the moderators do this when something is said that is against the rules. If you look at the bottom of the post it will tell you who edited the post last. CJ
