  aches associated with lyme disease?

My daughter developed the bullseye rash 3 days after a tick was removed.  1 day later she was put on an antibiotic.  10 doses into this antibiotic she is complaining today of her pelvic joints hurting ( the bite was on her hip a little to toward the inside of her leg)  one hurts more than then other and it's not often, but there are aches none the less.    She has also developed a cold of some sort (runny/stuffy nose, sneezing, etc...) 

My question:  Is it normal to develop joint aches after you've caught the lyme disease so early and have been on antibiotics for a few days? 

I just hate seeing her so miserable.  The aches are not debilitating, she has just mentioned them two or three times today.

I think its very possible for her to feel these symptoms as long as she isn't through the entire dose of antibiotics. The Lyme spirochete is very persistent and hard to kill.

You could try to have her avoid nightshade foods as they irritate the inflammation she most likely has in her joints.
