I know I shared this somewhere in the forum, but I was unable to find it, so apparently it's mixed in another thread somewhere never to be found.

Here's a thread where anyone can share their favorite smiley page or their sharable photobucket account.

Here's an account I just set up for this purpose.

Please do not link to my account directly as the bandwidth will be overrun and noone's links will work.

Instead, either click on the image to enlarge it. Then right click to save it to your computer or you can use the URL provided to upload the picture from my photobucket account to yours.

It's the one that says "Direct Link" under the Email & IM code.

That is my photobucket smiley link. It is categorized. You can see the category names on the left side of screen. They are clean and not perverted. But there is a section called "potty humor" where there is silly looking smileys barfing and sitting on the potty. But nothing bad. Thought I'd mention that in case ppl might have weak stomach and might get sick seeing a barfing smiley LOL.

Other website owners will be very upset if you link directly to their website. This is the reason for websites like photobucket. In essence you are stealing their bandwidth and if too many people were to link to the same picture on the same website, it could actually overload the server and cause his site to crash. This would considered bad internet etiquette. Most people don't mind you copying their pics/smilies - if they do, they will usually let you know somewhere on the page. In this case, copy the smiley to your own photobucket account and link it that way.

This is a direct link to the account I shared and for the purposes of this post that is ok, but for future use, I mentioned in my previous post that you need to create your own account and make the links that way. If everyone chooses to link to the same account, it will evenutally exceed maximum bandwidth and will no longer work for anyone.

I'm not sure if this is where this goes and it is really not a big deal, but here goes. Is it possible to add a question smiley that has a smile. The frowny face doesn't usually fit when folk have a question. People have used it in replies to me and I kind of get my hackles up! Grin

Not really, but I do think, "What's with the grumpy face man?" I know the poster isn't saddened by my advice on Cod liver Oil, just confused. Okay so this isn't a pressing need but thought I'd mention. Leslie Grin
