Search Function Not Working

I have a question - this has been ongoing for some time but I never bothered to ask. When I try to do a search, any search, it comes back with nothing. I have tried multiple times with various topics but still nothing. It was really useful being able to search a topic/category so that I don't have to spend hours reading through the different threads. Any suggestions? Thanks!! BTW I use a mac if that makes any difference.

I just used it and it worked, but it did pop back with a bunch of headers and no description. I searched for Feverfew and it sent me 6 pages. Normally there will be the thread name in dark green, then the specific post/poster in lighter green and then the word searched and a few words surrounding it. But this time all it sent me was thread titles with no description under it and I highly doubt a lot of them actually contained the word feverfew. There were a few that popped up right which I found when searching through the list, but it was like 2 out of 20. And a lot of the wrong threads that it gave me were from HB and some were just "this topic has been moved". Maybe it was just the word I was searching? I did find what I needed by doing advanced search and searching in just the topics.

ETA: Ok, I just did 2 more searches, one for garlic and one for red raspberry leaf, they both had some normal entries and some of the weird ones like I described above. The first couple weird entries for each word searched are all the same. They are all posted by HB and all have to do with the swine flu threads. Then there are also some about some rashes. Is anyone else having this problem? It is like the site will search my word but intermingle it with other options that don't contain what I searched for. Huh

Something is off kilter at the moment. I'm having trouble with search and other tasks as well. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thanks, good to know. I kinda figured it might be weird because of all the recent changes, but I wanted to give you guys as many specifics as possible to help with troubleshooting.
