Just noticed your second daughter's name- Lillian Adelle. My daughter's name is Lillon Adella- her Great-Grandma's middle name as her middle name and my Great-Grandma's first name as her first name.

Just wondering if any of you have suggestions... what girl name would go with Meline Isabella Angelina... not as one name, but would flow with these names in a family... need ideas quickly.. baby is soon to arrive.. (not mine Wink

I think that Joy would be a sweet middle name for any of them.

Along those lines (afraid I am not very creative.....), Faith or even Hope would work also.

I am praying that you don't take this wrong, but I wanted you to be informed about the name Melina. Undecided

When I heard the name Melina I immediately thought of Melena, which is the medical term for blood in stool which creates a horrific smell. Perhaps I am unique because I am actually a nurse and my dad is a physician and a lot of our friends are medical (physicians, nurses, etc.). However, I know that if my parents were to have another kid and name her Melina, many of the people we interact with, both with my dad and I would have mental imaging going on that I wouldn't want associated with the child. Maybe this won't matter to you, or you and your husband still love the name, than I would say without a doubt to name your child Melina. I was just wanting to let you know what might come to medically minded individuals. Like I said, I am really praying that you don't take this wrong and I pray the Lord blesses your child and causes unity in you and your husband's mind as to which name would best suit this little blessing of yours.

There are 3 girls in the family already. There names are Melina, Isabella, Angelina. There is a 4th girl due any day now.. so we are looking for names to flow well with the other 3 names.

oh, and the name Melina, in our language, actually means raspberry Wink

We had a pet bird named Chavalah, diminutive of Chava. Such a sweet name! We pronounced it Ha - va - luh.

Really what is her variation? We would probably pronounce it "Sho va" or maybe I should say the a would be a schwa sound if you know what I mean not a short a or a long a - thought that sounded harsher
