We are in early labor!!! We are having an unassisted homebirth, so we would greatly appreciate any and all prayers for health, protection, wisom, annd strength!! Thanks everyone!!!

please pray for my dd and her fiance as they are driving home from Philidelphia in this snow storm. Both their cell phones only have 1 bar battery life left too. No sleep for this mom tonight!

God answered a prayer, Minghuas family was found, is in the USA now and will be meeting their grandson this week. thank the Lord, I have been aching for them. I imagine they will claim their daughters remains while in this country. thanks for prayer, I cant imagine what they are going through right now.

quik update: waters broke last night. Contractions are very irregular. Debating transfer. Need praers foe wisdom and peace!!! Thanks!

This is such a small matter compared to the other requests on here, but considering that lately I have been struggling with a lack of joy caused mainly by too much stress, I think it would be wise that I ask for prayer.
My oven broke tonight, and I am having Christmas at my house, followed by a flood of guests for the rest of the week. I have a 20+ pound fresh ham that will take at least 9 hours to cook, and no alternative in mind.... not to mention the hours I spent prepping all of the appetizers and snacks that needed to bake tomorrow. Oh, I don't want all of this food to spoil! The part I need is out of stock until an unknown date. Our gas grill is on empty. All I have is the stove (assuming that works) and the crock pot. I pray that the Lord gives me wisdom, peace and a TON of grace because I know that my attitude tomorrow has the power to ruin Christmas or make it a wonderful family memory.
The meals are so important to us, traditionally. Each of my children only has one small gift because money is tight and to us Christmas has always been about a birthday party for Jesus, which in our family is all about the food. Somehow, I need to make my family think tomorrow's meals are fit to be a birthday feast for the King of kings. Please, Lord, be with me. ~L

Please pray for me and those going with me on this missions trip to Jamaica.

We will be gone from December 26, 2009 until Jan 4, 2010. Will be staying up in the mountains at an orphanage/church/school compound. Will be going from village to village church to church doing dental hygeine teaching and VBS plus some minor construction projects. Also it looks like we may get to go visit a girls home and a nursing home.

Pray me strong. My health is declining and I fear this will be the last missions trip because of it. Pray my health is good and my energy level is good too. Pray I am Spirit lead.

Im turning off my email notifications for now because our phone/internet will be shut off while Im gone. Also pray my hubby can find a job. The job market is not good right now.

Thanks for the prayers, we really did lean on God through this l/d and boy did he deliver!!! LOL! Cheesy

The Lord surrounded us with wisdom, peace, and love. We were able to have the unassisted home birth we desired, and learned so much! We re all doing well and my boy is SO SWEET!!!! Kiss

I have a praise! I am expecting my 5th baby. As many of you know, I have been on bedrest with all of my previous pregnancy, complete bedrest from 14 weeks on last time. Well, I am 21 weeks and am NOT on bedrest!!!!! I am on restricted activity, and am having some contractions, but I have been able to keep on top of them, and am able to take care of my other kids (ages 6,5, 2 1/2 and 1) We will be having our 4th girl! Grin

I have a prayer and a praise. Last night, within an hour of each other, our family had two very shocking things occur. Dh, ds and friend were heading home from a wrestling meet that was 5-6 hours from home. They hit black ice on the interstate and slammed into a concrete divider. They are all fine. No one else was involved in the accident. The vehicle is drivable, but banged up. (Trusting God for finances. Things have been tight for quite sometime, but we have miraculously been able to keep our heads above water.) THEN, after I got the phone call about the accident, our wonderful 2.5 yo black lab went outside and got hit by a vehicle. Cry

Thankfully, it appears that he did not suffer. Our 13 yo ds found him. We have cried a lot. I never knew, until this dog, how an animal can become such a big part of ones family. He will be missed. He is/was our first real pet. We are sad... Cry

, yet thankful.

Please pray for our kids, especially the 7 yo dd.
