I had an appt with an OB yeterday (only because we are transfering overseas and the NAVY needs an OB to sign off on my overseas screening paperwork, normally I would just see mw).  ANyway, to fill out paper work we need a due date and since I dont know how far along I am, she did an ultrasound.  The u/s showed nothing, just an empty sac.  the OB said it is possible that it is too early to see anything, or that I have allready miscarried.  We go back again on the 24th (christmas eve) to check again.  praying god will give us a live baby in there for a chistmas present.      I dont know that I can cope with another m/c (we m/c in Jan 07).  thanks for anyone willing to pray with us in this trial.

I was wondering if you could pray for everyone up here in Washington. Theres a huge snow storm coming through. Its been snowing for over the last 24 hours... there is probably MORE than 2 feet of snow on the ground, and its not stopping.

More specific. My parents have to be out of their house & moved into their new one by Christmas Eve. Not only was it taking a while already, but now with the storm it will be extremely difficult. Please pray that everything gets finished & moved on time.

Thanks!!

Praise God it was a mild one. Dad just called. She actually walked out to the ambulance. This is not a surprise because the drs. have been keeping a watch and treating this clot that was in the artery in her neck. Now they are waiting to see if that was the whole clot or a piece of it. I pray the whole clot is gone so we don't have to wait for the big one.  she is also very scared and crying right now. she is 77-this is my mom's mom.
Thank you for your prayers and pms!

Please pray for us.  DH is heading out for 100 mile trip to perform a wedding.  It is very wintery, here.  Shocked Beautiful, but we Oregonians on the coast aren't used to driving in this.  The good thing is that dh is from MN and used to the bad roads.  But, to top everything off, I am having petit mal seizures.  (I have a long history of this.  It is a hormonal thing.)  I can't be left alone with the children, so my parents are coming to get our family (minus dh) and take us to their house, 25 miles away.  DH will spend the night away.  Rehearsal is tonight.  Wedding is tomorrow.

Also, our missionary guest speaker for Sunday service cancelled due to the inclement weather, so dh has to come home tomorrow night and prepare for Sunday morning church.  God is able!!!!

Thanks!

I would appreciate continued prayer for my sis and her husband.  They are having rough times.  Communication is open, but without spilling all the details, just please pray for them.  Perspective is twisted, about marriage, on the husband's side (thinking psychologically and emotionally, which just leads to misery...), and the Created wife is growing very weary in doing good. Smiley   The husband has had a family tragedy in the last year, so we think that is a factor too.  Please pray.  And praise God for the Created book.  My sister keeps referring to it and using it.  The wisdom and guidance has really been a lifeline.  And her relationship with the Lord is stronger than ever.  It's still so hard, esp. during the holidays....Thanks.

I just received a phone call from my friend, who is also a WTM member.  She said her house is on fire.  Her family has gotten out okay.  If somebody is up please pray for them.  The fire is happening NOW.  I could hear children crying in the background.  I'll keep her forum name to myself for her privacy.  But they have 8 children.
Thanks,
Sarah

I heard back about the fire.  The house is gone.  Only one wall left standing.  It may have been caused by an extension cord. They don't have any insurance so please be praying for their future.  Once I find out what they need, I'll let ya know.

Another update....  I have been given permission to tell you who it is.  Sparkys9
I saw them about an hour ago.  Everyone seems to be in good spirits.  They are praising God for their safety.   Really if you think about it, it is a miracle that all 10 family members got out alive and unhurt.
They have been given lots of clothes.  Please pray for their housing and $$ situation.

Were they able to rescue anything?
Yes, everything that was in the house.  Oddly enough , they had gone to the laundry mat the day before and the two oldest girls clothes were still in the back of the van!  So those two still have some of their clothes.
Amy was talking earlier about the things that were dear to her that she lost in the fire (wedding dress, grandmothers china, baby pictures......)  but how they were only THINGS and how thankful she is to have her family.
I will pass on your prayers and well wishes to her

Just checking in here. Thanks so much for your love and prayers. The body of Christ is huge! I will only be online sporadically, but I'll try to keep you all posted. We are ok. Last night was pretty  Tongue. God's mercy is new every morning.
We are trusting in the Lord and He is providing.
HE is still on the throne, still worthy of all our praise, and His love is unending. Glory to Him! Amy

I have a praise!

We saw the midwife last week and she was wonderful!  I have a lot of driving in the next couple of months for appts, but she will be coming to us for the birth!
When my husband saw what she charges for the birth he commented that health insurance companies are really stupid for not covering something that is 1/5 the cost of having a baby in the hospital (actually less than that).

We are so excited!
Thank you to everyone praying, I have 8 weeks to go!!

thank to those offering up prayers on our behalf.  U/S today showed a 5 week 5 day baby, so we have growth, but we could not see a heartbeat, hopefully it is just too early.  But at least we have growth up till now.  Thanks so much!

Our family has several major issues going on right now & all of them are possibly life changing/major consequences. Any one alone is enough to be very worrisome/stressful but all together it's really stressing me. Between now & Wednesday the biggest ones will play out & the rest within this week.

Please pray for wisdom, provision, mercy, grace, protection & anything else the Lord leads you to. Thanks. Love in Christ ~herbalmom

Hi, all.  We'll be praying for everything so far, and give praise to God for the good news scattered in there, too!

I've been keeping this pretty quiet, but DH and I are going through fertility issues having our first child.  I have PCOS (it runs heavily in my family), and after much discussion and prayer we've decided to use medication, in addition to LOTS of changes courtesy of WTM!  I had a check up 11 days ago and am responding well to the meds, and am now just waiting to see if I am pregnant.  Our insurance doesn't cover this treatment, so we have a limited window of time to keep this up before the money tree is empty!

We need prayer for God's will, and I need prayer for patience.  I'm over-analyzing everything my body is doing, and don't want to be too disappointed if this isn't our month.  We know that we'll have children when God is ready for us to, but I tend to think too much....  So, we'd really appreciate prayers if you don't mind.  We're ready to start a family as soon as possible!

Thanks so much, and I hope everyone is well tonight!
Andrea

UPDATE:
Baby Jack is being taken off the breathing machine but Baby CJ is being admitted today. This is being caused by RSV. Hopefully CJ won't get as sick since they are in a better hospital.  Thank you for your continued prayers.

Please pray for me. I have been having a hard time w/ panic attacks. I am 7 weeks postpartum (4th baby in 6 years) and very tired!  Undecided
Pray for my husband too.  He is wonderful, but he feels helpless when I am panicking.

We are relocating from CA to KS in 5 days...Please pray for the packing process with a sick/teething baby girl! DH is also feverishly working to raise support in the process, so everyone is feeling just a wee bit of stress at this point! Please pray for the moving process to go smoothly and for us to trust God to provide to meet our needs.

Thanks!
