I am looking for a thread that was discussing a child with uncontrollable eating carbs/sweets and relating it to either candida or gluten or something. 

I looked at a couple of threads and could not find where it talked about that uncontrollable eating was a side effect of one of these intolerances.

Any body know what I am talking about?  I hope so! Thanks!

Thanks herbalmom, those did help a bit.  I will look more in the Leaky gut threads.  My son's (and dd) problem is a bit different.  they are both OVERweight, moody, and uncontrollably eat sweets and carbs.  I left my egg burrito on my plate today at lunch to run and do something, and when I came back, it was 1/2 eaten (it was ds)!  He does this all the time with other people's food.  And that is after he had 2 whole burritos!
My MIL says that is what my dh was like as a child (and still is).  I would really like to get to the bottom of it, and help them out.  Yes, after the holidays it has been even worse, but I just wanted some help narrowing down where to start!

If anyone has any more thread ideas I would love to hear them too!

It still could be allergies, leaky gut, yeast/fungus. etc. My DS loses weight with allergic foods- DD & I GAIN weight. Everyone in the family gets extra hungry when eating allergenic foods. When I get started on dairy often times I just want to eat & eat even though I know I'm not actually hungry. Yeast/fungus will cause carb cravings & yeast/fungus & allergies will cause moodiness. Low blood sugar can cause all of the symptoms (including weight gain) you describe also.

Thanks Yooper, but it wasn't there. It was about the order of things. Like, certain bees were designed for certain functions, and, if they did other jobs they were capable of doing instead of what they were designed for,or assigned to, the hive wouldn't function. Does that sound familiar Undecided

I think yes, there is a thread on this, but I don't honestly know where it is, but I think this might fit more in the "parenting" folder in 7xSunday rather than WTM.
