  Polycystic Kidney Disease

Does anyone have any experience dealing with polycystic kidney disease?  My friend's husband was just diagnosed.  There are no known cures. 

Any ideas on how to treat this naturally?  (He is not at all inclined to natural methods, but there don't seem to be any reasonable medical treatments out there, ie, helpful, not harmful.)
