Thanks, seekingtruth and 4myhoonie, that helps to know I am not alone. Thanks for the reminder about the probiotics. I think HB also mentioned that on here recently, but it slipped my mind... Better get making my yogurt!  How long of a break do you think is appropriate?

i am doing it for a few days whenever i begin to feel yucky and toxic.  if my bowel begins to get irritated my IBS comes back, i start it for a few days.  i may not even do the full 5 doses, but 2 or 3 times a day a dose.

I don't know if this was mentioned in this thread and don't feel like searching for it.  I started #1 on Fri night...had 3 bm's on saturday...took another #1 last night.  This morning, I woke up with a really distended belly and tons of abdominal pain.  I've only had 1 bm today.  I read over this whole thread and the website before I bought the Intestinal Formula.  I've always had problems with constipation, and I'm really hoping this will help.
If anyone has any ideas, they would be appreciated.  I feel so bad today.

Just an update...

I opted to go ahead with the IF #2 yesterday.  I had about 30 minutes of severe abdominal discomfort after the first dose.  Then, it seemed to move down into my digestive tract...Huh  I have felt considerably better.  This morning, the difference was dramatic!!  Think Dr. Natura Colonix website pics.....YEAH!!!!  Anyways, I'm excited that it seems to be working.  I haven't had anymore pain, so I'm just wondering if the previous pain was just from my body trying to get rid of the toxins.  Whatever the case, I'm so glad I haven't felt like that anymore.

It should get a little better with each dose.  Those are powerful herbs and Dr. Shulze says somewhere that they can make the bowels of a dead man move...literally...so they are going to work all that extra stuff out of you, too.  So glad you're having 'success.'  Roll Eyes

Okay its taken me several days but I have finally finished reading through all 16 pages of posts...whew!! So I have hormonal issues and have some yeast infection itch here and there. DH has some sort of funky rash/exzema thing on his leg and arm (doctors have diagnosed it ring worm...but no one else ever gets it and ring worm is highly contagious so I'm doubting that!) and really bad seasonal allergies (asthma after mowing the lawn, runny nose all day) My 2 little girls (17 months and almost 3) have what we call alligator skin (eczema I'm guessing Smiley) One got it before even starting on solids so I don't see how it could be a food allergy (I make my own laundry soap) ... My two oldest, (dd almost 3 and ds 4) have seasonal allergies. If they have a lot of fresh made whole wheat bread or eggs during seasonal allergy time they have LOTS of snot and stuffiness at night. So I don't think its a direct wheat or dairy allergy. More just that the wheat and dairy produces that extra mucous and makes them even more yucky. So I'd like to get us all on the bowel cleanse.

We all poop 2-3 times a day already though (although not 30 minutes after each meal)....do you think this would still help us?

Also, during the cleanse should I limit fruit intake or just processed sugar intake (my kids aren't allowed to have any processed sugar anyways)

I'm not looking for something to stay on indefinately. Does anyone find after doing the #1 if they get off it even after the cleanse they do not poop regularly. I don't want to make my body addicted to something to need to poop if you know what I mean. Smiley

Can I wait to start the Superfood until after we've cleansed?

I'm thinking #3 for my little bits. Whatcha guys think about a 4 2 and 17 month old?

Any orders being done soon?

What kind of probiotics did you guys do on/after the cleanse?

Thanks ladies!

Did any of your kids get their vaccines? I am pretty sure that is what caused my daughter's eczema and the bowel cleanse definately healed it. My husband also has seasonal allergies and the bowel cleanse made a HUGE difference in those as well. The products are amazing and absolutely work, the one thing I stress is that if you go back to eating bad then your problems will come back. So maintaining a good diet after healing yourself is SO IMPORTANT! The formula #1 I always keep in my cabinet just in case, but I am NOT dependant on it. The formula #1 works with your bowels, and by using it you are strengthening your bowels, adn they work better. We do not always eat perfect, so during holidays or birthdays I make sure I have the #1 so none of us get constipated.
For your hormonal issues I would do the bowel cleanse and if you still have remaining problems then get the female balance, it is amazing. All of his products are awesome!
Just because you are regular does not mean you don't have accumulated toxins in your bowels. The formula #2 acts like a vaccum and removes all the built up junk that can lead to allergies, etc. I woudl still buy the formula #1 to have because the #2 can make you constipated during the cleanse, adn the #1 will counter that.
During the cleanse I always limited things that would cause me to be constipated - bread, pasta, sugar, etc and ate lots of fruits and veggies.
My 3 and 6 yr old take teh #1, but before my little guy could swallow pills he took the #3. It works great too.

I use primal defense by Garden of Life as my probiotic.
We normally do not take superfood while on the bowel cleanse, we start after because it is easier for us that way.

PM me if you have any more questions!

Superfood Plus (14 oz powdered form, not tablets - but I put it in capsules)
  retail price $36 -- 40% off (shipping included) $23.10

Intestinal formula #1 (90 capsules)
retail price $20 -- 40% off (shipping included) $12.45

Intestinal formula #2 (8 oz bulk powder)
retail price $24 - 40% off (shipping included) $14.85

Echinacea Plus (2oz dropperful)
retail price $30 -- 40% off (shipping included) $18.50

Is anyone interested in doing a bulk order so we can get the discount?

Rikki if I order #3 will that factor into the $400?

I'm wanting enough #3 for 3 kids about 30lbs each for say 1-2 months
Enough #1 for me and hubby for say 2 months (I'm 110, hubbys 130, but guessing we'll just do the regular dose?!)
And enough #2 for all 5 of us to the cleanse 2x. then maybe a little extra.

How long would a superfood last a family of 5 (3 itty bits?)?

Maybe I would want some of that too...

Each adult would need a jar of superfood per month, 3 little ones a jar would easily last a month, maybe 2. you would probably want 2 of the #1, and 6 or 7 of the #2. The #3 does not count towards the order.

The 40% discount only applies to the exact products and quantities that Rikki listed above.

BUT, the last time I ordered, I received free shipping on the regularly priced products because my order was $150 or more. I believe it is that way all the time. Not much, but every little bit helps.

I need some things and would even be willing to submit the order if there is enough participation. I also want to do an order of reg-priced items (hopefully get free s/h on that). If someone wanted reg and 40% off, it might be worth it to combine the s/h and save a little $$. PM me if interested. Please let me know if someone already volunteered to do the ordering. Thanks.

He says they are but it might be a good thing to research the herbs individually before you decide to do it for yourself.  I think some of the girls posted they had used them during pregnancy if you read back.  This thread filled up a lot of pages fast!

Regarding nursing...

I have a three week old, and I have been having a fair amount of bowel issues. I want to do the 5 Day bowel Detox with Superfood supplements, but I am very concerned about how this will affect my newborn baby. Dr. Schulze claims his products are safe while pregnant and nursing, but won't a "detox" clean out my baby, too? He's so little, it just makes me nervous. Has anyone else done this program while nursing a newborn? Should I wait until he's older? Thanks!

Well, I tried the bowel cleanse about a month ago with my son who was 9 months old.  You can see my post on the previous page (post #429).  I only got as far as taking #1 formula for 3 days before I quit for my son's sake.  It definitely irritated him.  I thought about trying to use formula #3 instead since there is no aloe in it, but decided to wait and do what I can through dietary changes.  I think an older nurser (at least 12 months old, maybe even older) might do better.  I don't know what issues you are having but I usually have constipation after giving birth and it helps a lot to drink lots of water (see the water cure thread) and eats lots of fiber (I like trail mix since I need the extra calories anyway) and I'm really loving kefir!  If you really feel like it is urgent (which I totally understand) I would not use formula #1.  Just my 2 cents!

Maybe instead of doing a detox right now you could use dandelion?
I had some issues this time about 2 to 3 months after and this has really helped.  I just put it in with the red raspberry tea I was already drinking and you wouldn't have to worry about affecting baby.  Lots of good stuff in dandelion.  And it is in season!! Grin  I am sure this is mentioned on here and it is not Dr. Shulze but thought it might be a good alternative for you right now.

I guess I could describe it as feeling really toxic. My intestinal area is really crampy and uncomfortable. I'm not having trouble with regularity as much as just feeling generally gross and unhealthy, with the worst sugar cravings I've ever had. I bought this cleanse really hoping I would stop feeling so yucky, but reading the previous posts makes me even more concerned about passing it to my 3-week-old through milk. I really feel desperate to do something; is there another cleanse-type-product from Dr Schulze (or anyone else!) that I can do?

I am sorry, I don't have time to read all 15 pages right now but need to know if anyone has done his 5day liver and/or kidney cleanse? I am considering taking the plunge and ordering them but am a little scared. Did anybody have bad side effects? Did they work well? I would love to read testimonials from these products. I would like to order soon because I am concerned that my gallbladder is acting up.  Sad  TIA!

I would suggest ordering some of his books or taking a lot of time researching on his website. His books are full of information, you can also order his videos on curing any disease. Try his website first though, there is a ton of info there!

So we just started our cleanse. One thing I noticed...I gave my hubby 6 #1's last night...and he didn't eat a banana w/ it as suggested Wink (forgot to give to him at dinner time) and he woke up feeling HORRIBLE!!! HORIBLE cramps!
He's still only pooping 2x a day (which is how much he pooped before starting #1 last week) Do you guys think I should keep upping #1's until I get him to 3 a day before starting #2??

I am looking for Intestinal Formula #2....anybody got some they want to get rid of? Dd's eczema is still flaring up...usually, it's gone by this time in the summer, but this year, it seems especially bad. IF #2 is really the ONLY thing that really helps her. Undecided

Or--is anybody placing an order soon?

Mama Sita,

Have you looked at food allergies as the cause of the eczema?  Typically eczema flairs up with nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers), dairy and sometimes citrus depending on the person.

Yep, we sure have. I am certain she has a gluten allergy and dairy really flares it up, too. Our real problem right now is getting her to make the right food choices. She's 12 years old, knows what she can and cannot have (we made a huge food list of things that are OK for her to eat), and it's really up to her to choose wisely. I do my best to have the fresh veggies (not nightshades) in the house, but we've had some really big financial setbacks, and to be honest, I am having a tough time just keeping up with the grocery bill lately. The garden really isn't producing yet, and I will actually be starting a full-time job to help with some expenses around here. I would love to take her to an ND and do the ELISA test, but that's not in the budget, either.

Thanks for the suggestion, Patti. I always love to get great inside info from experienced gals such as yourself! Wink

You can order Dr.Shulzes and Dr.Christophers formulas from Unyquity over on curezone.  Here is her ordering site:

They are a lot less than from Dr.Schulze and the quality is awesome!
