Where to buy dried/freeze dried bulk foods

I couldn't find a thread for this...........

I would love to start an emergency prep. pack. I have been looking into food options for it but, as we have so many food allergies, it is hard to find much that is ready made.........The ready made packs are also quite expensive. I am hoping to make my own food pack with dried or freeze dried meats,broths, veggies, and fruits. Does anyone know of a reputable company that sells quality dried/freeze dried food stuffs at an affordable price? TIA!!!

I actually order from them every month!

They don't have any meats though. Sad

Anyone have any ideas on where to get good quality dried/freeze dried meats? Also does anyone know whether dried or freeze dried would be healthier? I know that freeze dried is lighter weight so might be easier for packing. Undecided

Still working on this....... does anyone have suggestions for a high quality healthy boullion? I would really like to get a hormone/antibiotic/msg free boullion for my pack. Thanks!

I have found a product called "Better than Boullion" Organic--and it is great! My mom gets it for me a her local organic dairy store. It's kind of expensive, but a little dab'l dooya. It is in a paste form, and I really like it.

Sounds like they take pride in their products. I've only looked at their website and found it interesting. Has anyone on here ever ordered from them? I'd love to hear from someone who has tried them and what their quality is like and if they have any additives added to anything.

I have tried lots of others, including the "better than boullion", but this stuff is absoloutely perfect. I adore it! It's all healthy. And everyone who eats my chicken wonders what my secret is. I prefer the one with sea salt and herbs, but they are all good. I never intend to switch brands again!
