Green food supplements during pregnancy?

I was interested in using a green food supplement. I do not eat very many vegtables at all, and this should help for one thing!

Garden of Life Perfect Food original is what I was interested in. Do you think it would be ok, I was wondering if I start out at tiny amounts and work up to a 1/2 dose or so slowly, I wouldnt detox much? A FAQ about garden of life says all of their products (except Primal defense) is safe in pregnancy. The primal defense is only safe if you have been taking it 3-4 months prior to pregnancy. I have read of other women using this same product (GOL perfect food original) in pregnancy and saying it is midwife approved.

Any experience with other greens supplements in pregnancy would be appriciated as well.

I have used Interlight Greens. I liked how I felt using them. $$$ though. I think it would be fine. I did mine during a pregnancy. Also they most likely will cause you to like your veggies more.

I did not. But I would start easy just in case. A little greens is better than none IMO. Just do what you can and see what happens.

Ok, thanks again. One dose is 2 Tablespoons, so if I start out with 1/8 tsp and work up very slowly, so I am at 1-2 Tablespoons by 36 weeks, I think that will be fine probably. I want my Vitamin K to be replenished, and it contains kelp and spirulina, ect, so that should help.
