  magnetic bed underlays

Does  anyone know anything about magnetic underlays?  Are there any possible negative side effects from them?

I have never used and underlay---------my sister has but she is a skeptic so I never know if things really work for her or if she just thinks it does or doesn't.   Undecided    Anyway, I know she used and underlay for awhile and  she said it helped her back but she quit using it-----why would you do that if it was working?    Roll Eyes     She never could explain that to me.   
I have used magnetic bracelets for years to help with stiff fingers and they really work well for me.    Cheesy   Before I started wearing them I could barely bend my fingers half way and now I don't have any problem even making a fist.   Grin    I don't do that often!   
I really don't know about negative affects but I am sure someone here should be able to answer that.   I will be interested to read what everybody has to say.
