Concord grapes - mildew prevention

Hi Last yr we had a mildew problem with our Concord grapes. I have asked some about what to do to prevent and it looks like there are a lot of different chemicals involved.

I am wondering if there is a natural prevention method to use,.,especially since my 2 yo loves to go out and eat them off the vine...I don't want any "..cides" on them if this should happen.

any ideas? What and when do I use it. We are in MN-COLD ZONE Grin

OK, 2 things come to mind here. Not sure if either would work, but they are certainly worth a try.

DE--food grade diatamaceous earth. I know this is usually used for insects and worms, but I am wondering if it would not also discourage mold and mildew growth.

Cinnamon--expensive, but definitely anti-fungal. Not sure how many grapes you are talking about, so if you are concerned that this will be too costly, try it on a small area to see if it works.

I know there's other stuff out there, but I'm clueless right now. Still sleepy from working my flower beds from last evening.....

I don't have any personal experience but my first thought was to periodically spray with diluted peroxide. Peroxide is supposed to work wonders in the garden and against molds and mildews. I had an article that gave instructions for using peroxide in the garden but it is packed away right now and I am not sure when I will be able to get it. You might google it?
