Water - reverse osmosis

We live in middle TN and my husband is prone to have awful kidney stones. We've researched it immensely over the years and have altered his diet considerably. He still got one last month. A friend who has tons of them told him that our tap water has tons of limestone in it and we must remove it with reverse osmosis.
I'm looking for a system that people recommend. I've searched the forum and couldn't find any that was recommended well. Thanks!

Well I had actually read that one - are you talking where it says Eco Water System for $4000? Seems a bit steep so I was hoping there were other suggestions out there. Maybe that is what they cost. I am just getting started on this.

we rent an under sink RO system for $23 a month from Culligan. they change filters yearly and take care of any maintenance or problems. The water tastes great and my husband doesn't have to take care of it.

Really,they remove osmosis?but how it will taken?
