natural replacement for vallium

Is there something I can take to relax besides vallium? I am having what i think are throat spasms. The dr prescribed prilosec to rule out acid reflux. I read that vallium might help something like this but do not want a drug that makes me sleep all day. Any thoughts?

I would try the Nervine Tonic from Herbs Etc. They have good quality formulas & I use their products a lot.

Also, Valerian is an herb that is used a lot instead of Valluim. It's contained in the Nervine Tonic but you might need additional . Hers Etc also makes Valerian tincture as well.

You should also look into improving your diet, cleanses, etc for long term healing but the herbal formulas can help you right now until the diet changes, etc kicks in.

Can I take valerian while nursing? I don't really need help sleeping.
I am having thyroid trouble and I think this is linked to that but am being treated but it takes time to get it right. Even my tongue hurts. so frustrating.
