What hormone causes pms acne?

Normally I only get pimples on my face about 3 days or so before my period, but this cycle, which has been kind of strange, I have had pimples the whole cycle, and lots more than usual! Does anyone know what hormone causes this, I am assuming that my hormones are not where they should be since my period was strange. Now I am getting close to my period again, and I have probably 10 pimples, whereas normally I have only 2 or 3.

I think it is progesterone, but not positive on that. (modify, it is testoserone)

Are you more stressed than usual, high blood sugar, or possibly pregnant? Are you on a detox plan?

What has really helped me with acne, I struggled for a decade at least with it, is keeping my liver functioning well. Lemon water, apple cider vinegar, kombucha, milk thistle and lots of water (all internally). Taking measures to stay regular is also very important.

I also only wash my face with water and wear no makeup.

Maybe you weren't looking for all of that advice but it may help someone Wink

I could be cleansing, since early on in this cycle I have been drinking lots of red raspberry leaf tea, hoping to correct a fertility problem I think I might have.

I also don't wear makeup, what a huge change that made! And the only cleanser I use (when I remember, not very often) is 1 part ACV to 4 parts water.

Twould be so nice if I am pg.... Been waiting nearly 3 years to be blessed with an arrow for the Lord's army.
