Diagnose my son, please :)

He has had a bad cough for 10 days now, 3 days ago green nose and fever started. This is his second day of not eating at all. He woke up this morning with extreme light sensitivity. He has had a low grade fever for 3 days now. He has been gooted soooo much, I have rubbed warm olive oil in this boys ribs for days now Sad

low doses of vit. c. can't really get him to take anything unless it is hidden in juice. On top of that he has down syndrome so doesn't communicate really well. I do have an appoint. tomorrow with a physician for him cuz' I'm wonderin flu. Anybody have some big guns they can suggest for me...I made the best goot possible, fresh very strong organic garlic from my garden. His green nose is clear today tho?

have you done any vit d supplements? I don't know if it would "heal" him I know they're saying its good for prevention and I thought kids with Downs are lower in D...don't know if that's right though?

We used vit D a few weeks ago when our young ones had whooping cough and started coming down with the flu at the same time. They already get 400 IU in a daily dose of cod liver oil and we gave them an extra 5000IU of Vit D3 (one capsule) for 3 or 4 days. It seemed to reduce mucus production. No rebound congestion when we stopped the extra.
