Bizymum....

Every time I'm out with my kiddos, people stop me to tell me 2 things:
1.  You sure are busy!
2.  You sure have your hands full!

Sometimes I just want to hand them an award for the "Most Obvious News of the Day"
And I says to myself, "Self, if I'm so busy and my hands are so full, then why is stopping me to chit chat the best thing they can think to do?"  Huh

You really can't be more unoriginal than me, here.   Grin

I have thought of other names since then, as well as wanting more anonymity (that spelling does NOT look right) for those I send to this site, but I don't think I'm not changin' b/c I don't want to add to the confusion.   Tongue Wink

My user name was just rikki -- I added the chic on later bc I thought I was the only one on the website using my real name! Glad to know I'm not!! Wink
BTW, the spelling of your name is super cute!

Just wanted to make a note here that I changed my username from

mshelson

to

MommaJo

mshelson was just something I came up with when I joined WTM last summer.  I couldn't decide on anything fun so I just went with that.  My son called me MommaJo out of the blue one day and we thought it was funny.  So, MommaJo it is.

As long as you keep your picture the same... I go by sight better than by names for recognition, so it confuses me when the avatars (?) change. I keep being tempted to change my picture, but don't want to for that reason.  Cheesy (Not that I'm that well known on here, anyway!)

That's funny because I remember you by your avatar, too.
Most are from their names, though.

That's true- I remember some more by their name and some more by their avatar. Depends which is most outstanding to me, I guess. Smiley

LOL! Yeah, I have even signed a few personal emails "WR".

And Dh really likes my avatar so I doubt I'll ever change it -- though I have thought about it a few times.

If my husband ever regesters you will have another two-letter-signer as his user name would probably be Bloodwashed signed BW.

To explain my user name, I need to introduce my husband. MrUkraineBible is my native Ukrainian husband whose lifework/ministry/calling/vocation is to translate the Bible into his native language. Since MY calling is to be his wife, I thought this user name would suit me best. We live in Kyiv and Ukrainian is what we mostly speak at home (and around town, of course!).

P.S.  all2Jesus, for some reason I couldn't send you a personal message  Huh Next time you're in Ukraine, be sure to stop by!

My username is not that complicated.  Our last name is Gustafson and the nickmane "Gus" gets thrown around a lot.  Hy husband's grandma was called "Grammy Gus" by her grandkids, and our kids call their grandpa "Papa Gus".  So I figured MommyGus works for me  Smiley

I chose this name as an email address when I was very much immersed in depression and just starting college. I felt like it was a new day for me, and that I would choose joy...

And the name stuck. It fits me much better now!  Grin Grin Grin

I choose my name because of the song "Walking on Sunshine". It was the theme of a retreat I went on in college that became close to my heart. I later was on team and then team leader for the retreat. The retreat is only 3 days but the idea is to live everyday like the 4th day because of everything you learned and how you feel when you get home. Smiley Hope that isn't too confusing.

Oh, and I hope people know me by my name because I change my avatar all the time. In fact, I'm get Jonah's pictures done today and will probably change it when I get home. Wink

My user name, Leat, comes from a nickname DH gave me.  He likes rhyming names. So I went from sweet heart to sweet beet to beet leet.  I changed the spelling cause I didn't think about it and just typed.

Another new thread for me today!  Cheesy

I chose marksgirl not long after I met my dh and was starting a blog and needed a name for it.  I now use it everywhere I go online, though occasionally it's already taken, so I go for marksgirls, since he has 5 and I have 3.  I think he was very pleased when I showed him the name I had chosen!  Kiss

My username is one my husband and I have used for years.  I'd like to be all spiritual and say that it originally came from the Bible, but ORIGINALLY it came about because my husband liked the band The Refreshments (does anyone else remember them?).  But when we got saved, we found this verse in the Bible and it fit so well, that now we use this.

"That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed."  Romans 15:32

My real name is Amy.
