  Keeping a toddler awake

My 18 month old has to have an EEG.  He is allowed to sleep for 3 hours, but then has to be up from 12 AM to 7:30 AM.  Does any one have any ideas?  Thanks.

My son had to have one of those and we had to keep him awake. It wasnt that hard really.  Just plan ahead. We went and stayed in a motel close to the hospital, because we didnt want to drive an hour+ while trying to keep a 4 month old awake early in the morning!

Your child is a bit older, but have lots of activities available to do and planning ahead is all I know to do. Lots of drinks and play... You will get through it!
