I've had several people ask if they could offer stuff they want to sell or swap here on welltellme.

If your "stuff" is used and not a retail item that you market regularly, this is the thread to post it in. For instance, if you have a box of 3-6 month old boy clothing you'd like to give away/sell plus shipping, offer it here with a description, and ask those interested to Private Message you.

If you need something and are interested in buying or recieving the item free via a welltellme friend, state clearly what you're looking for and check your email for replies.

If your "ad" has been up for two weeks or more, it may get deleted, in order to keep the thread clean, but feel free to post again, if you're still looking. Or, if you find/buy whatever it was you posted about, you can delete your original request in order to let everyone know they can stop PMing you. Wink

I have some Kombucha mothers I will give away plus shipping and handling fee of $6.00 each, contact me via PM if you're interested.

As of Friday, Oct 20th, this weeks mothers are all taken (haha) but in two weeks I will have some more.

There was enough interest in passing around SCOBYs and kefir grains that I decided to split these posts out of the regular buy/sell/trade thread for easier reference. If you posted your want/need for SCOBYs and/or kefir grains in the middle of a larger post containing other items in this thread, I did not split it out. I'll leave it up to you to post it separately. Wink

Just a note for those of you who buy and sell on this thread.

This thread was created as a courtesy to existing members. It was never intended to divert the nature of this forum. We are a health forum and as such we encourage and expect members to engage in topics concerning health.

As with any other community, WTM has brought together many families, moms, etc that have interests in common which usually means that their product preferences and material needs will also be similar. This is why Admin allowed this thread--what a great opportunity for members to be able to trade and market with others who have the same likes/dislikes and needs.

Over the past few months, I've noticed, on several occasions, posts made by buyers/sellers in this thread asking for email addresses and alternate means of contacting members because they have not yet posted enough to gain access to this privilege. I have also received a couple of PMs regarding the safety/security of trading with someone who has never posted other than in this thread. Personally, I wouldn't. This is not to say that you can't, but WTM can't be responsible for your safety in these transactions and would encourage you to have more caution.

If the only reason you decide to engage in conversation in this forum is to buy or sell goods, then please don't expect the active members to facilitate these transactions. It's very difficult to build a trusting relationship with someone who is invisible and extremely so when it's computer to computer. I would encourage those who are not yet active, to get active. Post, get to know the members. Allow them to get to know you and make it easier on all to interact in a trusting and healthy environment.

Wanted: Irish dancing Hard Shoes size 1.5 (about) for a girl.

I know this is a long shot, but I can get a pair now for $140 new, but after paying for mine, which will last me forever since I is dun growin', but knowing she will GROW more, I really want to find used. She fits into Rutherford brand size 1.5 and maybe even size 2 would work. Gives her room to grow. I am not sure about other brands, but willing to measure and see.

I have found a gazillion forums at dance schools across the country for used shoes, but they seem to want to stay in their little network to trade. But I'm still trying and will stoop to begging if I have to!

I have some clothes and winter coats for sale.

Boys size 14:
Levi's 527 bootcut jeans, they have the faded look. They look brand new, maybe worn a few times. Asking $7 plus shipping.
Old Navy hooded sweatshirt. It's orange, with the Old Navy logo across the front and a front pocket. It's in great condition, with some wash wear. Asking $3 plus shipping.
Old Navy fleece pullover. It is red and black, it zips at the neck, has two side pockets and one zipper pocket in the sleeve. Also has the Old Navy logo across the front. It's in good condition with some wash wear. Asking $2 plus shipping.
Take all these for $10 plus shipping.

Old Navy winter coat, boys size 6-12 months. This is BRAND NEW, though it doesn't have the tags on it anymore. It is orange and dark red, with a really soft red fleece inner lining. It is really warm. It has an attatched hood, two pockets, and adjustable velcro sleeves. Asking $20 plus shipping.

Columbia boys winter coat, size 3T. This is in pretty good condition. It's missing the detatchable hood. It also has some discoloration on the chest and one sleeve, but you have to look really close to even see it. And there is one tiny hole near the cuff of one sleeve. Other than that, it's in great shape! Asking $10 plus shipping.

I attatched pictures of the coats, but I have pics of the other clothes as well. Just PM me and I will email them to you. I also have more pics of the coats, along with a picture of the tiny hole in the sleeve of the one. The spotting on it wouldn't show up in the pics, though.

Homeschool curriculum for sale. It's third grade Switched on Schoolhouse by Alpha Omega. You can read about it here:

It's a really great program. I bought it brand new last January (08). I was struggling a bit at the time (kind of burnt out), so my hubby suggested we try this. It does most of the work for you, you just install it on your computer and set the dates of your school year, it will assign the work. It's definitely very structured. It did help us a lot, but it's not my favorite type of curriculum. My kids loved it though (they like being on the computer), it has some neat learning games. And they can go at their own pace.
This is the 2007 edition, not the 2008 one that's on the website. The curriculum is the same though, they just added a couple new features. I can't remember what, but it didn't seem like it was much. We bought it for $275 brand new, installed the program, then put the disks up. So they were only actually out of the box once, so no scratches or anything. I have the original box with the serial number and everything. I'm asking $225 or best offer. If you have any questions, just ask!

I'm also bumping up these that I posted for sale the other day, with reduced prices.

I am looking to buy a used (but in nice shape) Violet, Life of Faith Doll for my daughter for Christmas. She has been wanting a doll with nice hair for over a year. There is no way we can afford to buy her a new one, so I thought I would post on here and see if anyone has one they would like to sell. I think she would like Violet the best, but I would be open to other offers. Also, I would like it to be in good condition. For her birthday we bought her a used bike, and she didn't say anything, but I could tell she was a little disappointed that the seat already had some rips in it.

I just bought these for my 13yr old daughter and she is already out of this size! (sigh!) So much for that $60!!! Sad

A pair of women's stretch boot cut jeans from the GAP's Fall line, size 0R. (Zero Regular)
These jeans are a light indigo wash and are made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane.
They have a 31 inch inseam, a 7 inch rise, and measure 13.5 inches across the waist. They are in excellent used condition.
