Elia's Miraculous Arrival!!

Truly His greatness is UNSEARCHABLE!!!! God has been so GREAT throughout this pregnancy and He has taught me so much!! Praise the Lord for all He has done! Praise the Lord for our beautiful little miracle baby!

Elia Marie was born on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9:04am weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches. She was born naturally in a breech position - a miracle!!

I typed out the birth story - but it's probably too much detail.

Our new baby girl arrived at 6:40 Pm Sunday, August 17th. She is a sweetheart and she weight a tiny 6lbs, 11oz. Praise the Lord for His goodness! ~L

I know I'm a little late on here, but our sweet baby girl arrived on June 14th.
Caitlyn Grace was 10lbs 1oz and is very healthy!

Our little boy was born at home unassisted this morning (sept 15th) at 1:54 am. He was 7 pounds 9 ounces. His name is David Noah.

Lewis our baby BOY was born at home September 18th at 12:43 in the afternoon! I'm in love. He's beautiful. He was my biggest baby at 8lbs and 1 ounce and measured 20 inches long. Did I mention he is beautiful?

Well, I'm a bit overdue posting this announcement (pun intended Grin

). Our third son arrived on his due date, August 26th, weighing in at 7 lb. 13 oz. and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. To read our birth story and see baby pictures, please go to our blog at www.bibleua.com and scroll down to "It's a Boy".

Sorry this is so late getting on here. I've not had much time to be online in forever it seems. Judah finally came!! Our first baby boy, born May 23 , 2008...Judah Scott Visser. He was 7lb.4oz. and 20 3/4 in. long. You can read my birth story under birth stories past/present...it was totally not what I expected!

We had our 4th boy last night. We had been praying for a homebirth. Our newest son, Josiah was born at home in the water. He was 2 1/2 weeks early, but he weighed 7lbs. 9oz. and was 21"!

We had our 5th baby (4th girl) on Friday, Nov. 7th. Kiera Lynn was 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and 19 inches long. She's absolutely beautiful!

Happy New Years everyone! We had a little girl at lunchtime 01/01/09 (our first daytime baby!), 7lb90z. We've called her Zipporah Abigail Hosanna Parkinson ... a mouthful we know! Labour was about 3 hours long (short for most but my second longest out of five!). Pushing was very different for me this time round - it was the first baby where I wasn't on my hands and knees and I can now say with ALL certainty that hands and knees is so much better and less painful!! I only birthed sitting up so I could see the whole birth - it's been my goal for the whole pregnancy. So I had a mirror and was involved in the whole thing - I even touched baby's head before it was out. It was such an awesome experience and so wonderful to be able to see her rotate her head before I pushed her body out and see that she was a girl instead of being told and having her put up on my chest straight away instead of going straight to Daddy (which is lovely too but I'm pleased to have had my turn first this time!).
So I am really happy and feeling great except for the horrible afterpains. They are once again, worse than my labour contractions and hit right in feeding Sad

Blood loss was much much more than I've ever had and got to the point where if it continued strongly I would have had to transfer to the hospital (instead of birthing centre where I am) and be monitered and possible transfusion but thankfully it slowed down after that - PTL!
Will enjoy my couple of days of peace before I go home and learn how to be a mum of five children under 7yrs - eeek! Cheesy

So excited to announce that baby #2 arrived on Friday Feb. 6th. at 9:45pm

Marina Joy weighed 6lbs. 10oz., 19 inches long. It was a great labor with my husband and 4 y.o. son cheering me on! I have put her picture as my avatar.

Announcing the arrival of Aria Joy! Born at home last night (2/9/09) at 10:38 pm on her due date. She weighed 6p 12oz, and was 19 inches long.

Contractions that started yesterday at 11am, blossomed into the real thing around 5pm. By 9pm, I was in hard labor (ouch!), and she was born in 1 push because I wanted her out LOL! Grin

She did pass meconium before my water broke, but the midwife sucked her out really well, so no trouble there. Nursing is going fine, when I can get her to latch- she is still a little lazy there. I know she will get better with practice.

Praise God for His blessings!!

we had a boy! born Monday, 16th Feb at 1031 am
8lbs 10.4 oz 19.5 inches
that's BIG for me, and unexpected too.

labor was 9.5hrs, 2 of it really hard. my shortest yet. God is so good!

Micah Benjamin arrived Sunday 2/15 at 6:42 am. 8 lbs, 8 oz and 21 inches long. He's a little guy for us. Praise the Lord for a smooth 7 hour labor, and arrival on his due date.

We had a baby girl this morning at 2:20 am. The date is also 2/20. The labor was difficult but she is perfect and well worth it. She is #5 but the 2nd girl. She was born at home and was immediately accepted as part of the gang and is a bit overwhelmed with the constant love and affection she recieves, especially from her 18 month brother who can't keep his hands off her. I am very happy to hold her on the outside.
7lbs 14oz, 21 1/4". Beautiful.

Our fourth daughter, Latia Grace, was born at 11:51 am, Sat, Feb 21! What an amazing experience!
She is loved by all her sisters and her one protecting, big brother who beams with pride over his new sister, even though he was hoping for a brother.
She was my biggest baby, weighing 10 lbs, 2 oz and 22 " long!!
God is good and we're praising Him for health and life!

I am finally announcing our newest addition!

Andrew Michael was born on 3-8-09 at 6:06 in the am by cesarean. He weighed 9 lbs 9 oz (my biggest!), 20 inches long and was born at 42 1/2 weeks.

We planned a homebirth, but things did not go as planned, I will post my story later, after I recover for a bit. Even though it was not as planned...we are so thankful that we have a beautiful boy and healthy mama as an end result!

Well, I have another grandson! Malachi arrived 3/16/09 at 1 pm., a few days early. It was a great blessing - our DIL's midwife announced a few weeks ago she had decided to take a vacation the week she was due. I suggested our midwife, who delivered our baby, Zoe, last Sept. (some of you may remember that Zoe was stillborn.) Well, the Lord was so good, and had Malachi arrive while the original midwife was away, and our midwife delivered a very healthy grandson! It was precious for us all - the midwife who is a believer, her new assistant, a believer, and a great witness to the other assistant who is not saved.

We added another girl to our family on 3/9 (now at 7 girls and 1 boy). She was 6 days late--weighed 10 lbs 1 oz (my biggest before her was just 8-2) 22 inches long. My 3rd successful V-Bac...PTL!!

Benjamin Keith was born at home today after 4 hours of labor. He was two weeks early (I had an irritable uterus throughout the pregnancy), and 7 lbs 2 oz, 20 3/4" long. We are thrilled with our first little boy, and praising God for our three blessings in our "quiver"!

Yea! Congrats, kittyninja! The first name you chose is the name I'm secretly keeping from my husband to name our baby due next month. Funny, huh? If I tell him now, he'll say, "Ah, yeah, that's ok." If I wait 'til she comes he'll love it! (he's a nut.) Someday we'll have to get our kiddos together.
