I read this in the news yesterday. Very interesting.
WASHINGTON - Federal health officials won't put new restrictions on the use of a mercury-based preservative in vaccines and other medicines, denying a petition that sought the limits because of health concerns.
A group called the Coalition for Mercury-free Drugs petitioned the Food and Drug Administration in 2004 seeking the restrictions on thimerosal, citing concerns that the preservative is linked to autism. In a reply dated Sept. 26 but made public only Tuesday, the FDA rejected the petition.

"Only a small number of licensed and approved products still contain thimerosal, and the available evidence supports FDA's conclusion that all currently licensed vaccines and other pharmaceutical drug products containing thimerosal are safe," Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, the FDA's assistant commissioner for policy, wrote in denying the petition.

"We're not accepting that answer," said Dr. Mark Geier, one of the petitioners. The group now plans to seek a court order that would force the FDA to withdraw thimerosal from all vaccines and medicines unless the agency can show the preservative is safe, Geier said.

Thimerosal, about 50 percent mercury by weight, has been used since the 1930s to kill microbes in vaccines. There have been suspicions that thimerosal causes autism. However, studies that tracked thousands of children consistently have found no association between the brain disorder and the mercury-based preservative. Critics contend the studies are flawed.

Since 2001, all vaccines given to children 6 and younger have been either thimerosal-free or contained only trace amounts of the preservative. Thimerosal has been phased out of some, but not all, adult vaccines as well.
Most doses of the flu vaccine still contain thimerosal, though manufacturers produce versions free of the preservative for use in children. The FDA said it was in discussions with those manufacturers to increase the supply of thimerosal-free flu vaccine.

There also are minute amounts of mercury, as thimerosal or phenylmercuric acetate, in roughly 45 eye ointments, nasal sprays and nasal solutions, the FDA said. Various antivenoms for black widow and snake bites also contain thimerosal.

There are a lot of black widow spiders where we live! I am sad to hear that the anti-venom has the mercury preservative in it! Any other way to keep a kid from getting sick or dying from a black widow bite?

Yeah, they say it doesn't effect the kids, but I have three kids, two are special needs (SID). They were both vaccinated the way everyone says to. My third was not, he had his done much later, and he's not on the spectrum. Plus, we just had a toxic metals screening for my 4 yr old. His lead was 16 and his mercury was 20!!!! Shocked

Now, where else would he have picked up mercury except for his vaccines? Your levels are supposed to be less than 5. I sure wish I knew then what I know now.............. Undecided

Health Officials All Over the World Mysteriously Supporting the Vaccine Safety Scam

Directly on the heels of a CDC study purporting to reconfirm the safety of flu vaccines for babies, four Israeli adults (ranging in age from 52-76) died unexpectedly after receiving vaccinations from the same pool.

After a one-day moratorium on flu vaccinations, however, the Israeli Health Ministry lifted the ban, with the country's health minister receiving a flu shot at the end of a live TV news conference. The minister's own experts dismissed concerns that the vaccines had anything to do with the deaths.

The vaccines used were produced by Sanofi-Aventis, which has recently been cited for contamination problems at one of its American manufacturing plants.

How anyone can say that flu vaccines, likely tainted by the mercury-laden preservative thimerosal, are safe for babies baffles me. No doubt the rampant conflicts of interest in their approval and safety testing is part of the reason.

With the flu season approaching, you'll be seeing and hearing all sorts of fear-mongering from "experts," but don't be alarmed. If you're a regular reader, you may have seen an article I ran about the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) announcement that encourages anybody and everybody to get a flu shot.

But flu shots are loaded with neurotoxic substances like mercury and aluminum. And in most people, the flu shot does not prevent illness, but actually does just the opposite -- it weakens your immune system and makes you more predisposed to the illness.

Therefore, before you even consider vaccinating yourself or your family, I suggest you seriously evaluate the risks and side effects of the flu vaccine.

I have compiled a list of six guidelines to help you prevent and fight the flu safely and naturally:

Avoid Sugar. Sugar decreases the function of your immune system almost immediately, and as you likely know, a strong immune system is key to fighting off viruses and other illness, including the flu.

It is especially imperative to avoid sugar if you feel you are coming down with something, but keeping sugar out of your diet for the long haul will do wonders for your health and make your body stronger, which will make it harder for the flu to bother you. Be aware that sugar is present in foods you may not suspect like ketchup and fruit juice.

Get Enough Rest. Just as it becomes harder for you to get your daily tasks done if you're tired, if your body is overly fatigued it will be harder for it to fight the flu. Regular rest will keep you strong and ensure that your body has the strength to fight off any potential invaders. Have Tools For Stress. We all face some stress everyday, but if stress becomes overwhelming then your body will be less able to fight off the flu and other illness. It has been estimated that up to 90 percent of illness and disease is stress-related. If you feel that stress is taking a toll on your health, consider using my energy psychology tool: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is remarkably effective in relieving stress associated with all kinds of events, from work to family to trauma.

Exercise. When you exercise you increase your circulation and your blood flow throughout your body. The components of your immune system are also better circulated, which means your immune system has a better chance of finding an illness before it has a chance to spread. In a sense, exercising helps your immune system to be more efficient in weeding out and acting upon viruses and diseases. You can review my exercise guidelines for some great tips to get started.

Take Fish, Krill or Cod Liver Oil. Stop eating junk foods, fast foods, sugary foods, processed grains and trans-fats, and increase the healthy and essential fats like the omega-3 found in cod liver oil, the good carbohydrates like those in vegetables and the healthy proteins like those in clean, naturally raised meats.

Wash Your Hands. Washing your hands will decrease your likelihood of spreading a virus to your nose, mouth or other people. If your immune system is strong, it should be able to fight off the virus if it does enter your body, but washing your hands provides a bit of extra protection.

Be sure you don't use antibacterial soap for this -- antibacterial soaps are completely unnecessary, and they cause far more harm than good. You can read my article on hygiene mistakes for more information. Instead of antibacterial soap, identify a simple chemical-free soap that you can switch your family to. Local health food stores typically carry a variety of natural soaps.

What to Do if You Get The Flu

Preventing the flu (and other illnesses) is obviously "your best medicine." But if you do get the flu, one of the most important and simple things you can do is to use hydrogen peroxide in your ears.

Yes folks, simple hydrogen peroxide, about a half of a capful in each ear, several times a day, is more than likely to abort the flu reaction. I didn't believe it when I first saw it, but I have now seen many hundreds of cases that have been rapidly aborted with the use of hydrogen peroxide.

You can read my original posting on peroxide for this purpose. It costs less than a penny, so you really don't have much to lose. Give it a try. I can guarantee you that it is less toxic and more effective than any flu vaccine on the planet.

I also saw on the News last night that they are comming out with an Obeassiaty Vaccine. Go figure. I guess if they wont change there eating habbits just kill them off quicker with the poision at the end of a needle. Undecided

Please keep in mind that I am going off of memory so anything I say about it should be checked out if needed.

I was listening to the Christian radio talk lady named Phyllis Schlafly on the Eagle Forum program. There was a man on there talking about the virus for cervical cancer. If I am remembering correctly, he said something about how that vaccine is only good for about 5 years and how it only covers a few forms of the HPV viruses and does not cover them all like we are all lead to believe. So females could still be getting varies forms of STD's from the HPV.

If that is true that is rather scary considering all the females are getting that shot thinking it will stop them from getting cervical cancer but they could still get it.

There was some kind of talk about how in the future this shot will be a requirement to enter schools just like other shots are the requirement and how the age reqirement will keep getting lower for it. I also heard them say that it is the chicken pox shot that has derivatives of murdered unborn babies in it.

I am not the anti-vaccine type but I do see and belief that there are dangers in some of them and I do feel that each set of parents should have the choice to either except or refuse shots for their kids.

I am giving a link to their site. It looks like their February radio programs are not available on line as of yet but their 2007 and January 2008 looks to be up and running so you can hear them online.

The info I heard was aired today Feb 23, 2008. Please keep in mind I am typing this off of memory and do not wish to mistakenly put the wrong meaning and words into that sites mouths so it is better to check them out. They are a strong pro-life, pro-family pro-homeschool organization. And pro-God.

OK everyone, this is important. This must be responded to before January 15th!

Debi Vinnedge is a politically active and amazing woman who has taken the pharmaceutical companies to task regarding the manufacture of vaccines using fetal cell lines from aborted babies. Right now the most common ones are Hep-A, chicken pox, Rubella, and some versions of the polio vaccine. The manufacture of vaccines from aborted babies is a gruesome and ugly business, and one of the best kept secrets of the pharmaceutical companies: They do not want people to know, nor do they want people looking into it! Here's an article on ABC news that might be of interest. Apparently Dr. Sears has published an alternative or delayed vaccine schedule for those who are uncomfortable with the typical aggressive schedule, and now he's getting attacked by the media on it. I think it is admirable that he bravely offered an alternative, even though it may be a small change. This is a classic example of "politally correct" health science being supported in the media.
