Howdy!  I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be closing Lotions and Notions.  Business has been going REALLY well, but it has become too much for me to do.

I'm giving everyone 2 weeks to order to stock up if they would like too.  At the end of the two weeks, I will be selling the soap that I have left for 30% off (only the soap) But there may not be much left.

I will still continue to make pads and diapers for those who want them, just PM me about it after I've closed the business.  Also,  I would like to make bulk batches of soap (30 bars) for those who are interested.  It can be made with whatever oils and butters you want , and you can choose 2 different scents (it fits in 2 large molds). Prices will depend on what oils you want. I will start doing this after the closing of Lotions and Notions.

Thanks, Sarah

Vitalmill is having a sale on their mills.  If you have been wanting a mill but not had the money this would be a good mill to get you started.  It is 139.99!

I am a dealer for the bosch, nutrimill, and other supplies.  The bosch mixer and blender is on sale also.  PM me if you are interested or have any questions.  These will be shipped fedex so if you were thinking of a Christmas present it should get to you in time.

Hello everyone.
I sure do enjoy this website. I wanted to let everyone know about what our church is doing this month for missions, to see if anyone wanted to participate.

Every year our church dedicates one month to being an extra blessing to some missionary family by sending them a surprising large offering without warning  Shocked. This month our Pastor surprised everyone by doing something different.  He gave all the adults in the church $20.00 each to see how the Lord would lead people in prospering it for the Kingdom of God's sake... At the end of this month everyone will report on how the Lord has gained the increase from this years offering.

I have decided to invest my $20.00 on ingredients for some salves and laundry soap I make. I would like to donate ALL of the monies made from these sales to missions this month. So, if anyone is interested in donating and/or needs a Calming Rub, Vapor Rub or an All-Natural Laundry Soap let me know.

I have the Rubs and Soaps posted on eBay (I'll attach the links below)

I have been wanting to start my own home-based business for awhile. Making Safe, Natural, & Organic alternatives medicaments for families. What a way to begin: Giving my first fruits to the Lord! I am so excited to be using my time, talent, and treasure for Him.

God is SO good! Cheesy

Giving thanks in all things. Jessica D.

This is such a fantastic idea!  Our pastor recently passed the plate and gave everyone $1.  He wanted to prove to us that everything is God's, whether we acknowledge it or not, and he wanted us to bless other people.  The stories that came back were SO encouraging.  Folks paying for gas for a total stranger, paying for groceries for folks on fixed incomes, leaving bigger tips... it was awesome!

One question:  how much of each product did $20 buy you?  Just curious!  May God richly increase the fruits of your labor.

Well, as you can imagine $20.00 doesn't buy alot of ingredients these days, so I had to put my own money into it, but I'm more than happy to do so. It's a great cause!

Thank you for your response. Let people know.

Got to run- Jessica

We need a few volunteers!

Anyone interested in a receiving free bug block?  The only cost to you is that you owe us a product review!

Our bugbar is finished:  a natural bug deterrent that includes citronella, cedarwood, catnip, neem & rosemary essential oils in a beeswax base.  It's a solid bar in a twist-up style container that you rub onto exposed skin when you need to keep the bugs away.  We've been using here on us and the kiddos and have found it to be very effective!

Are there any outdoorsy families who would be willing to give it a whirl for us?

We'd like to get 3-4 families to give us feedback.

If you're interested, send us an email at mailadmin at grahamgardens dot com.

Thanks!

My husband and I just got started selling BOSCH  and  Grain Mills like the
NUTRIMILL and others.  I also sell bread making supplies like grain, dough enhancer, ect.  I had an organic bakery for a couple of years and moved.  Now I am going to start again.   We also sell the berkley water filters.  Do not have a website yet Sad  Not sure where to start?    Will check out the edge website though.  Please consider me if you are looking at purchasing a bosch or mill.

My kids are also raising Rodeshain Ridgeback puppies!

We have a small husband and wife shop in our town called Wishful Kneads that sells BOSCH and grain mills, etc, also. I've been on their mailing list for the past 2 years (met them at our county fair), but just went to their store for the first time 2 weeks ago. I went for their free 100% whl wht bread class and loved it. My mom came with me and ended up buying all the gear for making bread at home. Now we're addicted to their cooking classes. They're nutritionally educational as well. The bread class taught us about whole wheat nutrition. The next class we went to on home made salad dressings and mixes using healthy ingredients taught us about excitotoxins (MSG's, etc.) Next week we're going for Thai cooking. All their classes (except the 100% bread) are $5 each and we get to eat everything demonstrated. If you're not doing classes, just wondered if you'd like the idea.

Hi, I was wondering if you would give me permission to add the link to your website to mine? My business is called "Linda's Bread" I teach bread baking classes in peoples homes. Whole wheat sourdough bread only.
my website wheatandsourdough.com
I was wondering where the classes from bosch take place?

My business is teaching people to bake whole grain sourdough bread. I offer hands - on classes and online classes as well.
I have written a step-by-step instruction book, with lots of pictures to show the procedure and recipes for the busy person too. The preview is on my website wheatandsourdough.com
I am from Europe and bake artisan bread / the one with the wonderful taste. Would you like to have the smell of healthy, fresh baked bread in your house? Baking with sourdough is easy and can be fit in any schedule.  Smiley
