Can anyone give me any advice on a good brand of stevia. We have been using the KAL brand and really liked it because it does not have a bitter taste but it is more expensive. Does anyone have any other brands they like that are not really exprensive?

We have only found success with KAL brand - the others have a yucky taste for some reason.

I am glad to know that since we have been pleased with the KAL brand - do you have a good supplier for it?

We use Young Living's Stevia extract the glycemic index is 0 which helps maintain blood sugar levels. it's a 30ml for 23.03 retail and there are ways of getting discounts. There is no alcohol in it this extract which makes it taste better than other brand we've used.

I went to iherb.com and found out there are so many Stevia out there.  It comes in packets, drops , powder and crystal too?  My use for Stevia will be for tea and other drinks, but other than the brand mentioned before (KAL), does anybody have opinions as to what brand and what type? (like packets or drops or powder?)  I think I can use the First time buyer code HIC104 and get a discount of $5.00.

I use Kal powder stevia for sweetening everything from drinks to baked goods.  I've been using stevia for at least five years and the Kal brand is my favorite!  Even though it is more expensive than some of the other brands I use less of it so it actually comes out the same or less.

Powder for even baking goods too?  Wow, Do you buy them online? Can you tell me when you buy it?

I've found some good recipes online that use stevia instead of sugar.  I've also found some decent low carb baked dessert recipes.

The last few times I bought it locally at Sunflower Farmers Market.  It is more expensive than buying online.  I've bought from lucky vitamin and iherb.  I usually buy the 3.5oz size.  It lasts for at least four months.  I use it in tea and the children use it in their oatmeal, occasional smoothies, homemade yogurt, and tea.  I don't bake sweets very often.  I think we bought this last bottle in september and it is still more than half full.

I just looked at my container and it says it has 2381 scoops.   Shocked

I second the KAL brand - it is the best brand in my opinion - it doesn'th have a nasty aftertaste. I need to order some again so I am looking for the best price online - anyone have an idea/
