Apple Cider Vinegar and Local Honey for Allergies

Has anyone taken apple cider vinegar for allergy relief? I am reading on this website about taking it for allergies (basically just drinking it mixed with water) and was just curious if anyone has ever tried this and has ever been successful? The website I am reading is www.earthclinic.com. I have also heard from a co-worker to drink it with warm honey raised locally. The local honey contains pollen from the area and when you ingest it you build up a tolerance for it and therefore the allergy goes away. Has ANYONE heard of any of this and if so have they tried it and if so were you successful? Any info and/or thoughts is greatly appreciated! Wink

My sister has allergies/sinus problems and she swears by ACV. Drinks it with water, breathes in the steam in a pot on the stove.

This tea will take care of congestion. Surprisingly, this tea tastes good and my children drink it. I make sure to give them some to drink just before we are exposed to a crowd or after we have been around anyone with sickness. It tastes sort of like warm, sweet pickle juice.

In addition to its other benefits, Garlic is useful in the treatment of Arthritis as is Apple Cider Vinegar. Raw Honey will help you if you are dealing with any allergies. It is a whole food and will not wreak havoc on your blood sugar when used as a sweetener. Be careful, though, not to overdo it.

Does apple cider vinegar go bad? And how can you tell if it does go bad? I have had some in the back of my pantry for about 3 years. It's still cloudy. I would like to use it again, but I'm not about to smell it until someone tells me that it's still good. Roll Eyes

Vinegar and honey never go bad! Yeah, for natural preservatives! My question is, how did you not use ACV in 3 YEARS??!!! lol We go through a bottle a week!

Forgot I had it. It got shoved to the back of our pantry, I cleaned out the pantry and discoverd it. Took me two weeks to remember to ask whether it was good or not.
