asthma vs allergies
« on: June 08, 2007, 07:05:08 AM »
My 5 year old has been suffering with wheezing and shortness of breath off and on for sometime. We have been very watchful of what he may be allergic to and have narrowed it down to my parents basement that is located over a hundred miles away. Asthma runs in my wife's family for several generations , so we are trying to decide which he might have. We are also in a high pollen area, but at this time it is not that high... any and all suggestions welcome

My oldest daughter was diagnosed with asthma a couple of years ago.  She needed an abutirol inhaler almost daily.

I took her off homogenized milk and her symptoms disappeared within a week.

Here's a link with more on this.

We had the same reaction with my then 5 year old son.  I took him off all dairy and it went away!
Home, home on the range, where the deer and the cantaloupe play..... according to my 4 year old

My son was VERY bad and we started him on local raw honey, local raw milk (long term effectiveness) and nebulized him with saline and a few drops of eucalyptus oil (immediate relief) as needed.          ~L
